Just got my box (Retail). I didn't know which I was getting, but I plan to buy a hobby also.
Base set - 72 cards
missing - 48 cards
doubles - 34 cards
foil - 4 cards
stickers - 8

Not even a base set Frown
Any idea how many sticker are in a set? I'm thinking 30.

Now I am looking at the other four boxes deciding what to do with em.

Just figured out who the artist for IG-88 is!

Bouncey Brian Ching Bouncey

Also opened two more boxes and pulled:

Jeff Johnson's Darth Vader
and
Joe Corroney....some character I dont know but it is on the Topps web site. It is the first one on the Top left.

Also I am pulling about 1.5 base sets a box.

reading these posts it looks to me like it would be wise to keep well clear of the "retail version" - money and time NOT well spent.

Just got my 2 cases of the 1st Wave HOBBY version ... now just need a few spare hours ... Drool

Opened my second hobby box.
1 base set + extras
4 foils (1,3,4,6)
Dave Dorman sketch of Qui-Gon
Very nice sketch!!! It makes up for the Busch thing I got in the other box.
I was a Plunkett and Ching fan. Now add Dorman to that!

I don,t care much for sketch cards but your Dorman Qui Gon is very good. I could go for that one.

I have to agree. I've seen a lot of good sketches this time around and some real howlers, I'm actually rather excited waiting for my cards to arrive...

I can't believe I overlooked a sketch card. I just double-checked the box that was missing a foil and to my surprise there was a sketch card I missed. I guess after I pulled the first 1 I just quickly skimmed the remaining packs looking for the shiny ones and didn't see it.

Here's the 9 sketches from my case:

Incardine, that first Hodges looks like the Emperor and the second one is DEFINITELY Shu Mai, one of the Separatists at the table will Dooku in Attack of the Clones, the one who says (subtitled) "What you are proposing could be construed as treason."

I really like that Padme card and if you are looking to part with the second one, I would be very interested !

I got my case this week and did not get any autographs.

So far I have completed one base set per box and 5 foil sets from the case with 2 foils left over. I have not yet organized my doubles but I hope to do another 2 sets with those ?

These are the sketches I pulled:

Chewbacca by Randy Martinez
Emperor Palpatine by Sean Phillips
General Grievous by Matt Busch
Bib Fortuna by Davide Fabbri
Jar Jar Binks by Randy Martinez
Jawa by Jeff Johnson
Darth Vader by Tommy Lee Edwards
Bossk by Dan Parsons

Wow that's sweet. I've only seen one other Bossk sketch and it was done by Edwards I believe. Bossk is my favorite Bounty Hunter other than Fett.

Darth Vader Fan - I love that Bossk as well ! He's my favorite of all the Bounty Hunters. Funny thign is that my friend who pulled the Carrie autograph ALSO got that same Bossk card and I watched him pulled it . . . so when I got my case finally, I just "knew" there was no way I could pull it - but I did ! ! ! Smile

cverdec - your sketches won't load for me, they show up as x marks in a box. Can you email them to me ?

Caesar-No problem. I just need you to email me so I have you address. It's not listed/shown in your profile.

The pictures are pretty big (dimensions, not file size). Maybe that's why they aren't loading for you.
