Wow, that is a really cool color sketch. I hope I get something similar when my case finally arrives.

Today I bought a few packs from a just opened box, and lucked out on a color sketch of the Death Star orbiting Yavin. I cannot make out the artists name. It's a cool sketch.

My artists is Tom Hodges. I just looked at Chris' Heritage Images thread in the General Forum, and my card has the same signature as the Tom Hodges Boba Fett sketch. All of the cards in that thread are line drawings, so am I right in assuming the color sketches are less common?

I am curious because I have not seen these yet. Usually there is some statement about odds posted for entire production run or something like that. Is there anything like that on these boxes or packs?
It would seem to me that if a "one per box" is posted then you should have a decent shot at getting a replacement card.

WOW, I don't have my case yet but I just got home from my friend's house, he got two cases, and he pulled Carrie Fisher in the second case ! ! ! ! ! !
Incredible. I hope I am as lucky. Every other box had a sketch card. No shortages in that respect.

So, here's a question: I bought 36 packs at auction. The seller pulled the sketch card, and made 36 pack lots. I just wanted to open some cards, and hope for a set. Is there any chance of getting a second sketch or an auto out of my lot of 36 packs?

While the odds are greatly against getting anything special out of these, I have noticed that a couple of case breaks here have noted 9 sketch cards. So another sketch or auto is possible, but highly unlikely.

Does the auto usualy replace the sketch? In other words, if the sketch is pulled, is there no chance of the auto?

I had this happen to me. I busted four boxes and got five sketches. Out of curiousity, I noticed a pattern in the sketch placement in my first few boxes and tried it in the forth. Sure enough, first pack and the excitement was gone...or so I thought. I kept on ripping the packs and then found the extra one.
But I would suggest getting the 36 re-packs with the intention of building a set. Getting a sketch or auto will likely be a long shot.
cjdmadcow...your Duuresma is the best looking Heritage sketch I've seen so far

Darth Opus
I've opened 1 hobby and 2 retail boxes.
Hobby - Tom Hodges Darth Vader sketch and foils 1,2,4 & 5
Retail - both boxes had four foils 1,2,4 & 5 and 8 stickers (exact same numbers in each box)
The interesting thing was the retail foils were exactly the same as the hobby foils. I thought they were supposed to be different. Anyone else come across this?

1 Hobby box 36packs 5 cards each C box design B+ wrapper(2 variations) B+ 1 base set B Base set design B+ 1 Sketch(pencil only) C 4 foils 1,3,5,6 1:9 B+
Overall B- Very nostalgic design and good foils, but considering the popularity of the subject it could have been more impressive. For example, including stickers in the hobby version. Hint, Hint!!!
