Got box #0003/8000
Here's what was inside

1 set of 110 base cards, 19 extras
7 Silver Foil Parallel
1 Gold Parallel
24 Goldfinger Reto cards
2 Quote cards
1 Gold Girls card
1 Costume SCOC3
James Bond and Severin's Bodyguard (Tuxedos
worn in fight in the Komodo Dragon pit)
2 Autographs
Jennifer Castle A235 (One of Shady Tree's Acorns from Diamonds are Forever)
Mollie Peters Full Bleed Limited

Base set is really nice, parallels are nice too, Gold is numbered to 100. The low number on the box was cool, will keep this box. A long way to go to complete Retro Goldfinger set, Quotes and Gold Girls.

Opened a couple of boxes last night.

Autos
Berenice Marlohe as Severine (40th) Smile
Glyn Baker as 002 in The Living Daylights (40th)
Beatrice Libert as Mme Deradier in Moonraker (FB)
Joe Flood as Police Captain in A View To A Kill (FB)

Relics
SCDC7 - dual costume, Silva's Coat and M's Coat
SSC33 - single costume, Bond's Jacket

It's a very nice base set indeed with the same design as Dangerous Liaisons (which was my favourite Bond set ever). A great and fresh choice of base set images too, showing off Deakins's cinematography very well.

Did anyone else get a bunch of damaged Quotable cards? A lot of mine either have the coating coming off or a sizable ding on the bottom.

I had two that had a little flaking. Thankfully I had the same cards twice in my case, and could replace them. Glad to hear it wasn't just me. It almost looks like the cards are coated in a silvery leaf type stuff and it peels from the edges.

I also noticed how hard it is to read the numbers on the Goldfinger cards. Don't get me wrong, this is a beautiful set and these Goldfinger cards are great but having a few vision issues with my eyes, I found it hard to read the numbers on the cards and had to use a magnifying glass. Smile

Two of my boxes in the case were short of a full 110 card base set. One box was short by 5 cards. Not a problem for me as I had a case, but I wonder if the huge amount of cards in this set will make it more likely that several boxes don't hold a full base set, which would be quite annoying to people only buying one box.

My one case main finds:

Autos
A227 Berenice Marlohe (L)
A230 Jane Seymour (EL)
A232 Daryl Kwan (x2)
A234 Oliver Skeete (L)
A235 Jennifer Castle
A237 Caroline Hallett
A240 Tonia Sotiropoulou (x2)
A242 Glyn Baker (L)
A243 Naomie Harris (EL) Clap

Beatrice Libert (L)
Burt Kwouk (VL)
Geoffrey Palmer (L)
Gloria Hendry (L)
Irka Bochenko (L)
Martine Beswicke (EL)
Neville Jason (L)
Simon Kunz (L)
Valerie Leon (L)
Lulu
Joe Flood (L)
Kenneth Tsang (L)
Jack Klaff (L)

Costumes
SQC1 Bond Quad Big Grin
STC5 Bond Triple Smile
STC6 Silva Triple
SCDC2 Bond Patrice Dual
SSC9
SSC11
SSC16
SSC22
SSC24
SSC31
SSC34
SSC42

Full set of Quotable, thankfully the two damaged ones I had doubles of.
Full set of Gold Gallery
2 sets of Goldfinger plus lots of extras
96 Silver Parallel(all different)
12 Gold Parallel (all different)

As I said in an above post two of my boxes didn't contain a full 110 card base set. Not a problem for me, but a potential issue for buyers of one box wanting to have the basics from one box.

A really REALLY nice set. There are always autographs we wished we might have had instead of others, but I'm always realistic about my luck, (or my usual lack of luck!) and I'm VERY happy with my case. Smile

I wasn't able to complete even one set of the quotables, I had so many damaged Frown

You're not alone on the Goldfinger cards, I had my eyes lasered last year and I still had trouble telling the 5s,6s,8s & 9s apart.

Yeah those numbers are hard to tell apart. The 1s and 7s are tough...as are the 3s and 5s.
Heck, they are ALL tough to read. Big Grin

I wonder if Rittenhouse have any complaints about the Quotable set yet?
The extra card in the Rewards scheme is a Quotable, I'll be interested what the quality of that one is, or whether it's a waste of the shipping price.

The archive box took up three boxes and still didn't contain a complete set? Talk about a set having too many chase cards. What the heck is Rittenhouse thinking?

I guess they were thinking that you would buy more boxes. Like Star Wars it's gotten to the point if you started stacking card images from these Bond films in the order of the movie you could almost use them as a flip book to see the entire film. --HEY WHY NOT DO FLIP BOOKS? Rittenhouse if you use my idea an archive box would be nice.

I received my Rittenhouse Rewards card 22, and indeed, the material on the upper left corner is peeling off, just like people mentioned above on the Quotable chase
