Cases/Incentives scheduled to arrive today! Will post breakdowns this weekend from 10 cases. Might not be breaking all down it just depends what I have left available after this weekend. Hopefully I get some nice variants. I know the release date is Monday but I am surprised no one has posted anything on the bay yet. I know there are some dirty dealers out there that start posting before release dates and it seems to happen with every release these days.

Here's my case, and before I start cackling with glee, I'll mention my few concerns. Each box had a complete set of base cards, but I only found 13 copies of a couple of cards across the case, and the rest ranged from 16-26. So I didn't see a repeat of most HP movie and update sets of near-perfect collation (with as close to two complete sets as possible). Boxes are 24 packs of 8 cards. 10 boxes per case, 5000 numbered boxes. Expect 2.01 base sets of 90 cards per box if collation were perfect.

The case-topper is a widevision lenticular card. One wide-card type in a set may complicate the use of 9-pocket pages for the full set, but I think we can manage.

Now for the good stuff. Based on pre-release information, this is my best HP case ever, and maybe the best I've seen from anybody. Two Ultra-Rare autos and two Rares. After my Emma in the last case, I think I've made up for my previous results that were below average. I didn't find any extreme costume or prop variants, but I definitely can't complain.

To start off with, it appears that everyone was right about the bad collation. I am 2 cards short of a single base set out of my box!!! How ridiculous is that?

1st set- 2 cards short (100, 169)
2nd set- 31 cards short
36 spares (and there are dupes in the spares!!!)

Mad

Inserts:

Box topper BT4
R 1, 2, 4, 6, 8

Main chase:

Film Cel CFC5

Costume C11

I was hoping for an auto but the pulls were okay with me. I just can't believe I couldn't even put together a single base set out of my box. Frown

Continuing on with my new Harry Potter hobby box addiction. I've officially run out of affordable boxes to buy, so these will probably be the last for a while, except for the POA update box I set aside for OtBD.

Box 1
Wooden Box Topper BT3
R1, R3, R5, R7, R8
Costume card C9 (Harry's shirt - #205/330)
Autograph Louis Cordice (Blaise)

Box 2
Wooden Box Topper BT1
R1, R2, R4, R6, R8
Costume card C8 (waitress's shirt)
Prop card P9 (Potions Mixing Sticks - #114/130)

Only two full base sets between the two boxes. But overall, not a horrible break as far as I'm concerned. Smile
