The little green guy is Doop. Can't remember the ape like guy's name & not sure about the female. Maybe she's from Shield?? Sorry not much help other then the green dude.

I just finished sorting my 6 boxes of Marvel Masterpieces 2007.

First the sketch cards:


One of the nicest Grant Gould sketch cards of this series (Kitty Pride).
A Spider Man sketch card by Blair Shedd.
An Iron Man card by Ryan Orosco and
A cool Magik sketch card by Joyce Chin (who only did 25 cards).



Namor by Conan Momchilov
Cable by Chris Copeland and
Modok by Jason Kieth Phillips (which was not in one of the 6 boxes).

Breakdown:
6 sketch cards.
6 Alex Ross Box Topper B&W Sketch cards (1 complete set).
36 Adams/Ross/Strazan Colored cards (2 complete sets and 1 incomplete set missing 1 card).

The woman is She-Hulk.

The woman might be mankiller, or something like that.

I'm extremely happy with the sketches that I pulled. My two more common sketches were a NAR and beautiful coloured Wilkinson. The other four sketches were by artists that had lower sketch counts. I love the Broome and the Llorin (his pencil work is AMAZING).

Some very interesting things to note here. The foils seem to be pre-arranged into "3" boxes. I had 2 boxes each that had the exact same foils, so I actually got 2 full sets of foils. Also, I had four boxes where I got 2 base sets and then 2 boxes where I got NO base sets. In fact, the 2 boxes where I had no base sets has the exact same missing cards. Definitely not the "random" cards in packs you would expect.

I finally ordered a box, and it arrived today. Beautiful set, but I noticed that my sketch card seems to be claimed by someone else on here already. I thought there were only one of each card out there. Am I mistaken, or can anyone give me any details on this.

FYI - I pulled the Thing by Grant Gould. Igman7 shows he pulled it (on page 3).

Any answers would really help.

Gould is a reasonably high volume artist and is likely to have repeated characters and images. However, each card is still individually drawn.
