Trip to Target...

1 Jumbo pack 31 cards per RETAIL pack
- 30 base (no dupes)
- 1 bonus 3d card
(So far 15 different...may be more)

1 Regular Retail pack 4 cards each
- 3 base
- 1 concept card

Overall C-
Pros: 3d card
Cons: The wrapper provides very little information.

I picked up a few of the jumbo packs the other day.
Each pack had the bonus 3D card and I got one
behind the lens insert. Not sure how many 3D
cards are in the set, the highest one I got was #54.

Got a scan of the 3D cards?

I'm trying to confirm whether these are unique to the set or leftovers from the 3D set.

They're the same as the 3D parallels from the Marvel 3D set.

Notice the back of the card mentions...
...PREVIEW CARD...
What does that mean? Promo? Roll Eyes

Here's a scan of the front and back of card #54.
I'm not familiar with the Marvel 3D set so I'm
not sure how these compare. As xtime pointed out,
these all state "preview card" on the back.

That's exactly like the 3D parallel set in Marvel 3D, with the exception of the "preview card" not being on the actual set.

Now... Is it the complete 72 card set, or just a few different ones?

I'm guessing that is an almost impossible question without some input from UD as it's tough to prove something does not exist.

Those are nice, but really, what does the Punisher (and likely a lot of the others in the 3D set) have to do with the"Avengers Age of Ultron" movie?

That's a non-issue for Upper Deck. See the subjects of many AoU sketches for the same issue.

My guess was AoU was supposed to come out BEFORE the 3D set. And these were designed to promote that set. As it turns out, 3D was out about a month before even retail on AoU.

What were the differences in the retail gravity feed and the hobby boxes? Was it like IM2 and IM3 where there were autos only in the hobby and both had chances for costumes and sketches, or did UD change things up again?

The retail jumbo packs are pretty much base cards with the one exclusive 3d card. I may have pulled 3-4 chase out of the jumbos, about 1 in 5 packs.
The retail gravity-feed packs have base and a chase card every other pack, about 1 in 2 packs.
Not aware of any autos or memorabilia in retail. The wrapper provides very little information.

By the way, anybody got extra 45,47 & 77 to trade? Drop me a line. Wave
