Well, I guess the "Variant Box" was just that - an outer box that was different than the usual box. Obviously not a hot box or anything...

Weird thing was, this set has 32 packs per box instead of the usual 36. Collation seemed pretty bad with many packs containing two of the same card, but it seemed to work out all right in the end. Horrible for pack buyers, not so bad for box buyers. Each pack had a promo card for Bolt's next card release, "Widow", which, according to NSU, was never issued (probably not a bad thing, IMHO).

If I'd paid more than $10 for this I'd be disappointed.
