Overall a full auto and costume run with 7 sets of foils.
One Casino chip card and disappointing only getting one sketch card, I was expecting at least 2 or 3. I have e-mailed SI about this. The 9 card foil set of the cast is the only chase set. Sketch, Costume & Casino Chip were all Box toppers in a clear plastic bag. Also most boxes made up 1 base set with 2 short of a second.
A picture of the sketch card is on page 17 of the Dr Who & CSI thread in the News/Rumour Section(middle card of 9)This message has been edited. Last edited by: hammer,

Just doing the math from Strictly Ink's own figures it should average out at 2 casino chips per case and 3 sketch cards per case.
However the sketch figures do not seem to be adding up.Barrie stated on the Strictly Ink message board that there were over 2000 sketches across the 3 products(125 cases of New Avengers and 250 cases each for Doctor Who and CSI).
This should mean at least 3 sketches per case (2000+625 = 3.2).However most cases opened so far have had either 1 or 2 sketches with just one reported 3 sketch case.
I am sure I saw something about a case topper for this set on the CSI page a couple of months ago but it now seems to have disappeared so maybe it was cancelled.
In the same vein did I imagine it or were ther going to be dual autograph cards in this set as well at one stage?
Will post my breakdown when I get my case, hopefully Tuesday at the latest,

Well, here is what was originally supposed to be in the set:
quote:
Limited to 300 cases worldwide. Case topper bonus 9 card rare set, with many signed by creator Anthony E. Zuiker. Limited to 299 hand numbered sets. Rare casino chip card, limited to just 25. New hand signed variant cards from William Petersen, Marg Helgenberger, Gary Dourdan, Eric Szmanda, Jorja Fox and many new surprises too. New box inserted double signed DoubleINK autograph cards, and all new creator/cast autograph cards. In series 3, every signature card is scarce with each box containing 1-2. 6 cards per pack, 36 packs per box, 12 numbered boxes per case. Each box contain at least one basic 72 card set.
Things sure seem to have changed a lot since I was first solicited on this one...

I'm hoping for more than one sketch in mine..as these will be pricey to buy in based on whats happening with dr who & new avengers. The most important thing from my point of view is you get one set of autos per case which is my favourite part of trading card sets

So where are all the extra sketch cards .As I said in a previous post Barrie has stated on his own message board there were over 2000 sketches done and even if every case of the three releases had 2 sketches per case that only adds up to 1250.

I'm really starting to wish I didn't order a case of these, only 11 signers 9 have already signed, no dual auto's, no case topper, and I really dislike the Costumes, Sketches and Casino Chips being Box loaders (Thats a real kick in the face to the pack buyers) oh well I post my breakdown when it arrives

Overall the cards are nice, I like the new auto card style and the costume cards are nice as well, had there been 3 Sketches(as I expected) I would have been delighted with the case.

I received my case today. I got 2 sketch cards 2 cosyume pieces of Gregs shirt from Series 2 a couple of duplicate Auto cards and a chip. Was only missing the cotume piece of Brass' tie so bit disappointed with that. But very pleased with the first purchase of these cases.

The C2 costume card seems to be less than 1 per case. I only managed 2 out of 7 cases.

There are 250 cases and only 90 CSIS3-C2 worldwide. I managed to get two out of two cases. One with stitched pattern.

Hi Flobe, where did you get the figures for the CSIC3-C2 card?
I have been trying for over a week now to find out why the insertion rates for the casino chips and sketches do not add up to the stated production run.
There are 500 casino chips and 250 cases but we only seem to be seeing one chip per case so where are the other 250 chips.
Likewise there are over 2000 sketches spread across the CSI,Dr Who and New Avengers releases but most cases have 2 sketches so there are at least 700 sketches unaccounted for.
