My wife has opened boxes 211 through 214 and 3 of these boxes have only 1 auto each. No other details yet.

Worth waiting for but I wish we had found a Sidle or a Grissom auto. Certainly no complete run of autos in this case.

This does concern me, as they stated on their website that a case would contain a full autograph run. Frown

And so there should be. I for one bought the case on the strength of that promise, and considering that I'm STILL waiting for my Avengers costume cards there will be rockets fired under people if these cases don't deliver.

dis68, I hope you're gonna e-mail Barrie and complain that three boxes only have one auto...?

I have opened 2 cases so far and am only missing A16 for a second full run of the autos, so it seems dis68 got the unlucky case.

Hmmm... I thought the deal was that you should get a full run per case, and now I know that both you and dis68 have cases that don't fulfill that criteria...

3 cases I know that have been opened, only one has a full run in it.

Maybe you're the lucky one...?

No thinking about it - it's clearly written on their website :

quote:
Total Production 4999 Numbered Boxes/
( 416 cases of 12 boxes per case)
2 Autograph Cards Per Box - Full Auto Set in Case

Maybe I'll get the four lucky boxes from my dealer Smile Choose wisely for me!

And still is, so I've emailed Barrie to see if he will send me the 3 missing autos :-(

What I got in that case was
1x A1 "Gil Grissom"
1x A2 "Warrick Brown"
0x A3 "Sara Sidle"
1x A4 "Greg Sanders"
1x A5 "Dr. Robbins"
1x A6 Anthony Zuiker
1x A7 "David Phillips"
1x A8 "Archie Johnson"
1x A9 "Det O'Riley"
2x A10 "Det Vega"
2x A11 "Bobby Dawson"
2x A12 "Det Lockwood"
0x A13 Eileen Baker Cox
1x A14 Richard Berg
1x A15 John Goodwin
0x A16 Carol Mendelsohn
1x A17 Ann Donahue
1x A18 Larry Detwiler
2x A19 Jackie Tichenor
1x A20 Danny Cannon ( Case topper )

and yes 5 of the 12 boxes ended up just having 1 auto in each - all of these were in the 6 boxes opened by my wife ( although she did find the Grissom in the last but one pack of the last box )

<< Added Monday 22nd December >>
Other statistics about this case :
There were 25 base sets of 100 cards, 8 sets of the Foil character cards( 8 cards in each ) and 9
sets of the DNA foil cards ( 6 cards per set ) plus a boxful of spares that I haven't yet sorted out as it was the rearranged Meat Loaf concert last night Cool

Case 15/416

Only A18 short (Barrie is sending), Full set of Costume Cards, Numerous Base Foil (7) and DNA (7).

GREAT LOOKING SET and as it was the first case I had EVER opened I am well pleased. The wait was worth it. The CSI crime scene tape around the case was a really great touch.

Depends on what you define as 'damage': every single card on the back has some damage, a couple have foil flaking.

I was pretty certain the last two boxes would have the good autos Big Grin

Case 35 of 416 finished just as the clock struck midnight.

24 base sets of cards (could not make more than one from a box,the second set was always about 5 cards short but no cards appear to be short printed so it was easy enough to make them up).

8 x Forensic Foil sets and 11 odd cards.

9 x DNA Foil sets and odd cards.

8 x SS1 Script entry cards.

Full set of auto's Smile and extra's of A10,A11 x2,A12, and A19.

Full set of costume redemptions and extra C1 Big Grin.

Kudos to Barrie for getting the cards out before Christmas and more importantly managing in most cases to get the full auto run in each case.I am not aware of any other manufacturer which makes that guarantee. Thumb Up
