IAfter wathing Season 1 on DVD i decided to get the cards. And what an awesome set. I wish i'd gotten them earlier, I would have voted for these on the gummys.

My only dissapointment was then every pack in the (sealed) box was ever-so-slightly bent, so consequently each card has a minor curve to it.

Here is the breakdown on my one box

Never give up - NEVER surrender

The slight bend is due to the foil and cardboard reacting to humidity in different ways. As the cardboard expands and the foil does not the card tends to bend inwards towards the foil side. Unfortunately, most foil cards do this, and the Alias cards are very prone to it.

Nice box though, there is the ocasional blank box in season 1 which can be awfully frusterating.

I just got another box and in answer to my own quote , NO . Just 2 basic sets and a box topper The number of the box above must be wrong as this box has the same number stamped inside . Four of my packs had 7 cards and one had 6 . I guess this is where the chase should have been . The box was still factory sealed

Sorry about your box's finds. There may or may not have been a Costume or autograph card in the box. Unlike the Season 2 which had 1 Autograph and 1 PW card per box, Season One had 1 of 4 scenarios:

1. 1 Autograph Card & 1 PW Card
2. 1 Autograph card, no PW card
3. 1 PW card, no autograph card
4. No Autograph and no PW card

Scenario 4 was 1 or 2 per case.
My 6 boxes that I orginally got at release, had 1 scenario #1, 2 scenario #2, 1 scenario #3 and 1 scenario #4.

LOL. That's the same thing I tell my dealer when I have a bad day and wind up pulling the few boxes in a case that have no higher end insert in them.

Hey....if you get more boxes from that case, your luck can't get any worse. You're bound to get one of the mostly scenarios 2/3 or few scenario 1.

You may even get the elusive PW3 Hat.
When Alias: Season 1 first release, my dealer sold and opened lots of cases. It was down to the last case which we were debating whether to open or not. My dealer said if I wanted 1 or more boxes from the last case, they'd open the rest. I decided to pass.

Later I found out Incarnadine had bought the last case and pulled one of the (50 or so) PW3 Hat redemption cards. to me. Oh well.
