Well, I broke down and cracked another case, and a few loose boxes, was quite pleased with them.

Another great set of sketches you got there Zach, especially the Argonath, the Nazgul/Fell Beast in flight, the Gandalf the White and Boromir in death on the barge.

Oh what the heck all 9 of those are great sketches Dance

A nice early Xmas present to yourself there Wavey

Hey everyone. I got a case of these for Christmas from my wife Big Grin

I will be posting the breakdowns and sketch scans soon, but I need to see if anyone has seen the 2nd half of this sketch card. I really want to try and track it down. It is a 2 card sketch by Watkins-Chow, and I pulled the Shelob half.

Your very welcome...I'm glad they were released from Customs! I love when the work gets to a place where it will be looked at...and your collection looks like it's shaping up to be quite spectacular...thanks again for your support!...have you put together the complete group of LOTRM artists?

Yes they were delayed at Mount Pleasant customs in London for a few days until they told me what I had to pay

Sorry but I think it was this eBay auction which finished before Christmas - unless Watkins-Chow did multiples of this scene as some artists did

...and a beautiful one at that...and a great price...as there are only 21 of those Walks cards out there, that means there can be only 21 collectors out there that can possibly complete the one-sketch-card-per-artist collection...not counting Kayanan of course as his 6 are special inserts and are not done on the official Topps LOTRM sketch card...
...there are a few 50 sketch card artists that are tough to come by including Hodgkins, Chung and McCrae...and I think Renae DeLiz was only able to finish around 80 or so...
...so with Walks under your belt...the rest is all downhill!

Have a great New Year everyone...

one more thing...I'm trying to track down the right half of a Dillon...of Frodo collapsing before the great eye...

If anyone spots this anywhere, I'd appreciate a PM...thanks!

Oh well another 2 boxes came my way with these results :

I think the first is a David Rabbitte ( at least I hope so as he was one of the artists I was still missing )

Anyway the ones I still have to find/get to make up a set of the artists are a McCrea, a Zapata, a Zsolnai, a Watkins-Chow, a Sohn, a Babbitt and a Molinelli ( sorry RAM )

Oh and Len you should have email about that Dillon sketch
