Wouldn't you think it would be difficult to battle with those huge costume parts above your shoulders (scan on the right)? I mean that's got to take away from any peripheral vision and just how awkward it must be to have them there. I mean I can't stand the tag on the back of my shirt sometimes!

If I remember correctly the "wings" on the costume helped Yellowjacket fly and have better balance, as well as increase his natural abilities...
