Kind of a good news/bad news situation.

Good news: won a sealed case off eBay for $268.00 shipped. Sweet!

Bad news: the number printed on the inside top of the box: 11 8440

Like Raj I got four dud boxes (one didn't even have a parallel) but also got two with two hits.

Ended up with:
8 parallel cards
a third Wolf Kahler autograph
Ric Young, Roshan Seth and Vernon Dobtcheff autographs
Howard Shum and Mike Duron sketch (yay!)

I'll scan and post the sketches later.

So, how does one contact Topps customer service?

Hi all, finally broke down and bought a box of this. I told myself I wouldn't buy one after hearing about so many boxes that were missing either an auto or a sketch.

However, I was unsupervised and saw one box at my local sport card shop. I took it as a sign I should buy it as the shop rarely carries any nonsport stuff.

Did pretty well, all in all.

Haven't put together the base set yet, but the other cards were:

Parallel Card # 40 A Deadly Intrusion #d 156/500

and a pretty cool sketch. Can anyone identify the artist on this one for me?

You need to upload your picture to an online hosting service like Photobucket.

Here's my results from a single box break,

Complete set w/extras
Box topper p1
Parallel #1 373/500
Autograph of Julian Glover as Donovan

Not a bad break overall. I'm quite pleaded with the Glover auto. I would much rather have that than a monkey sketch Big Grin

Just broke down a box

One card short of a base set (#17)
One Parallel - #66 Capture of the "Jones Boys" (63/500)
P1
No Auto
No Sketch

The base set is nice - maybe they're trying to keep the value of the base set by not putting in as many big hits?

Possibly, except no has reported seeing any retail boxes yet, and there is nothing on Ebay. A resealed box is a possibility, but I suspect this is just a bad hobby box.

There has been one on that auction site that I have seen and it's already over. Retail
