I really liked the base sets images with the main image on the right and the three smaller images on the left. Then the back has an additional different image. The only disappoinment is the last 9. It was a shame that there was no card for Dr. Fraiser or General Hammond giiven that the other doctors got cards and Landry got a card. Of course quite a few others were missed out such as Jonas. I liked how the the 90 card set out of the 24 pack box meant there were only a few extra base cards. I was glad the Atlantis cards got finished up even if they only got 1 card per episode. Overall, I liked this release and was happy to have a slightly different style of Stargate release.
Three boxes here; no exciting auto or costume variants. Boxes are 24 packs of 5 cards. 12 boxes/case, 6000 numbered boxes. Expect 1.10 base sets of 90 cards if collation were perfect.

Opened 3 boxes. Disappointed because I didn't get any of the VL autos (I was hoping for one) and the common autos weren't the characters I was looking for. However, it's still great value at 5 hits per box and the base set and insert sets are excellent, and the insert ratios are very high.
So, nothing high end but good value anyway. This is an excellent addition to the Stargate card series.

Case 3 – SG1 Case Topper #78/300 – “the duff case” (comparatively speaking)
Comment: OK, so collation wasn’t great on this one – no complete continuum set (no numbers SC1, SC4 or SC8!!!). 4 VL’s and no Limited makes this the lowest-hitting case I got – and unfortunately I’m still missing the Landry Auto’d Costume (VL) and Ronon Auto (VL). -----------------------
In the end – adding it all together, the 3 cases got me:

Overall, a really fun set and one of my favorite sets to crack a case from. I got a little screwed on the collation as I wasn’t able to get a full Stargate Universe nor a full Stargate in Motion set, which kind of sucks. I was happy to get three Very Limited cards from my pulls, but it sucks that two of them were the same card, and not even two different variations of each other! I’m still happy that I got them, because that was the one card I wanted to pull, but I wish the second one had been a Picardo or Tapping auto instead. Anyways, I have some new stuff to trade- all the pictures are in my photobucket, and the pictures of the stuff I am keeping will be up shortly.

Stargate Atlantis is a new addiction of mine, and I scored a couple boxes of Stargate Heroes for the holidays.
It's been so long since I got to open boxes, I forgot how much fun it can be, and the rush of pulling the harder-to-find cards! It's definitely nice to find myself being slowly pulled back into the hobby.
Box 1: Autographs: A109 (Adrian Holmes), Michelle Morgan Costumes: C63 (Vala Mal Doran), Samantha Carter dual costume
Box 2: Autographs: Michelle Morgan, Rainbow Sun Francks Costumes: C64 (Vala Mal Doran), C67 (Ba'al)
Overall, I'll only be keeping the autos from the second box, since everything else is either SG-1 (which I'm not a fan of) or a double. But still, it was fun to break them, and the set itself is really nice - definitely a keeper, even with half of it being SG-1. Hopefully I'll be able to grab a couple boxes of actual SGA sets sometime in the near future!
