I recieved my case this morning, I have mixed opinions on it as you can probably tell.

3 x Soul Demon Autograph Frown
2 x Mercedes McNab Autograph Big Grin
2 x James C. Leary (Clem) Autograph Mad
James C. Leary Blue Variant Clap
James Marsters Autograph Elephant Luv You
K.D. Aubert Redemption
2 x Kali Rocha Autograph Shake Head why me?
3 x Buffy Pieceworks
2 x Angel Pieceworks
1 x Autographed Angel Pieceworks
Plus the Boris Auto & PALZ redemption

Not too happy about the duplicates but I can't really complain. I'll probably auction them off to go towards another case, I wonder how much I'd get for the James C. Leary Blue Variant...

Oh I found the auto'd PW in a box that also had the normal PW, so don't lose hope if you find a PW first!

rogueslayer.First off,welcome Wave
Only six out of the ten auto's Eek I think an email to Inkworks might be in order to see if they can help out.I would expect one or two missing, but FOUR...nah.It's a large outlay and you would expect to get close to a master set.

Without wanting to start anything, you should *not* expect close to a Master Set unless one is guaranteed by the company in question. Occasionally, you get bad cases like this (I know, it's happened to me on several occasions) but all you can reasonably expect is what is stated in odds. It is reasonable to assume that there will be cases out there which do *not* include the major signees, because these things are packed randomly.

I think this is a good case, especially as it has an autographed costume card and I know of at least one instance where someone has opened 3 cases of product and not seen a single one of these.

I didn't want to stir anything up but it's not like it's the largest set to make up re:Farscape TTW.I understand not everyone is going to get a Spike,Dru and Darla in a case but with 12 boxes and 10 autos the greed in me would want at least 8 different. The pieceworks are not guarenteed so I would expect to fall short.

Interesting choice of words Big Grin

Been doing this collecting lark for nearly 30 years: when the Buffy S1 set came out to pull two autos from a case was a real bonus, now everyone expects to get one of everything without considering how these things are put together.

The harsh fact remains that that you buy a case, and unless the company guarantees a Master Run inside it you won't get one. That's why dealers deserve a great deal more respect than they often get because to make a Master Run is often far harder than you think.

Hmmm, if i'm reading right no-one's pulled an autographed Buffy piecework card yet, wonder if this is rarer than the Angel version? More breakdowns needed!!

Here's my case breakdown:

3 box loader sets
3 Spike + Buffy sets
3 Heart & Soul sets
Juliet Landau auto redemption Clap
Julie Benz auto
Mercedes McNab auto
KD Aubert audo redemption (x2)
Kali Rocha auto (x2)
George Hertzberg auto
Steven W. Bailey auto
James C. Leary auto (x2)
Simon Templeman auto
Buffy Pieceworks redemption (x2) Clap
Angel Pieceworks redemption Clap
PALz Spike Figure redemption
Boris Vallejo autographed card

Has anyone opened more than one case? I was wondering what the odds were of getting a James Marsters autograph card. Every other case? Every three cases? I would have thought that since James is very fan-friendly that he would have signed quite a few auto cards - at least getting one per case.

Not bad, is it? Last time I bought a box from the dealer I got these boxes from I got the Van Helsing Hugh Jackman auto. I've already placed an order for 4 boxes of Quotable Star Trek TNG from him.

A-9 (James C. Leary - thick black sharpie)

Box 2:

Haven't quite come down from that one yet!

My resolution this year was to not buy more than half a case of anything except Harry Potter. So sadly I only bought and opened 6 boxes of Spike. But I am very happy with my pulls.

2- 6 card sets
2- 9 card sets and 2 duplicate cards
2- Boxloader sets
6- Autographs no dupes
Pavayne, Soul Demon, Cecily, Darla, Adam, Harmony. The only one I didn't get that I REALLY wanted is Clem.

4- Pieceworks- 2 Angel ones and 2 Buffy ones.

I think I did pretty good for 6 boxes worth. Especially since I got the ones I wanted the most.

I also got the binder and caseloader and am getting an uncut sheet.
