Two Harry Potter boxes for me (yes, hobby) and two duds means that Artbox won't get a penny of my money again.

Totally unlucky there!!! I mean, what's the odds of getting dud boxes happening to the same person twice!!!

Hope you have better luck with other boxes you opened, aside from Artbox ones! Wink

I'm tentatively willing to put them on the watch list but give them another chance on the issue of too many dud boxes and uneven seeding. The reason: This was such a huge increase in print run over any previous Artbox release, that they probably had one or more printing/packaging shops that they hadn't "trained" yet. I don't know for sure if they used anybody who hadn't done this type of job before. But if so, they can potentially learn from real or perceived mistakes.

I guess I didn't get any total duds in my case, but a box with just a Sleeping Bag or Lupin Coat almost feels like it. ...

My one box:

1 base set
box topper 2
foils 2, 4, 5, 7, 8
Lupin Jacket - like the world needs another of these Roll Eyes
flying Buckbeak film card (Sirius in cells)

Was hoping to get a Hermione Scarf or Grim fur (or, you know, a triple auto or something Wink) and so was very excited when I found an extra-thick pack, but alas! it was just 10 base cards. Shake Head Can't decide whether or not to take a chance on another box of these.

I opened 5 boxes total. I haven't collated the basic sets yet, but:
I didn't get any BT1, R9, or R5 Frown

I did get:
Ron Costume (731)
Harry Red Costume (2173)
Harry Black Costume (2173)
Hermoine Costume (730)
Lupin Costume (2900)
Buckbeak flight Film card, with Snape on film (900)
Harry and Owl Film card with Sirius in cell on film (900)
Filch autograph Big Grin
Weasley Double Autograph Dance

Not too bad overall...

By the way, anyone know if there 900 total Film cells, or 900 of each picture?

The only thing I've an extra of is a Sleeping bag prop card. I did get lots of foils for one box. I don't think that Artbox mixes the packs very well. I did get 4 packs in a row of the exact same cards. Now that's crazy.

1. Thanks for the info, Roz!

2. Sarah, I think I've already got something hammered out for the missing cards, but I'll let you know if it doesn't work out. Thanks!

I just had a very good box I thought.

BT4, R1, R3, R5, R6, R9
Costume card of Neville - #668 of 1170
Filmcard of Harry on the Bus - #432 of 900
Warwick Davis Auto

I think I did well. Considering my last box all I got besides foils was a sleepeing bad prop card.

Bought myself a box for Christmas...

Haven't collated them yet, so I don't know about a complete set of base cards at the moment.

Also contained:

BT3

R1, 3, 6, 8 and 9

Werewolf Filmcard # 306/900 (frames: close up of a crystal ball and a close up of Harry)

Daily Prophet Prop Card # 84/480 (containing large lettering from one of the headlines)

Lee Ingleby (as Stan Shunpike) autograph

Pretty good box since it had everything but a costume card.

My kids gave me two boxes for Christmas and I did as well with them as my first three boxes.

Box 1
Daily Prophet prop (nice swatch with lettering from a story headline)

Box 2
Vincent Crabbe auto
Knight Bus filmcard (cells show the three kids and Lupin in the Hogwarts Express compartment, right after the dementor appeared)
Daily Prophet prop (with two scratches)

I'll be returning the scratched card to Artbox for a replacement. It's a bit strange that I have five boxes from two different dealers and pulled three prop cards -- all of them Daily Prophets.

My sister got two autos, probably because I got a double. She also got more film cardz than I, and prop cards. We're pooling them all together, anyway.

Well, we're pretty happy with our first case Smile
