My 2 cases break down as follow:
Autos:
A1 2 (2 Redemptions)
A2 12
A3 2
A4 3
A5 3
A6 3 (2 Redemptions, 1 real)
A7 10
A8 15

Costumes:
C1 2
C2 none
FrownC3 8

Sketches:
12 (incl 3 Redemptions)

ID Sets:
17 Sets, 6 spare (This is a ratio of 2.5 per Box)

First of all I had 14 boxes with 2 autographs but no costume or sketch. That does not reflect the predicted ratio... Roll Eyes

BUT:
1) This set ist the first on with NO defective cards Clap
2) The autograph design is great
3) The cards have HQ images
4) Barrie has the best and friendliest customer support ever. Thumb Up

Just finished openung the last boxes of my case.I was much luckier than most of the other cardtalkers who have posted.

Autos 2x A1 Sinise
5x A2 Zuiker
1x A3 Cahill
1x A4 Giovinazzo
1x A5 Harper
1x A6 Belknap
8x A7 Lindberg
4x A8 Walger

Costumes 1x C1 Mac Taylor Tie
1x C2 Flack Tie
1x C3 Hawkes Shirt

Sketches 1x Babbitt
1x Edwards
1x Harris
1x Manque
1x Persampieri
1x Shum
1x Wilkinson
3x Redemption cards.

10 sketches from 18 boxes is excellent so I can't really complain about the 5 boxes with two autographs although the one that had two Zuikers was a bit much.

I think we may have seen the last of the CSI releases as it is clearly getting to be a struggle for Barrie to get the main cast members to sign.

I just hope that Sinise does sign as it will be very hard to find an acceptable alternative to replace it with.

Well, I'm not the first to report from North America this time. But I might be the first from these shores who pre-ordered back in July 2006. Though, I know enough about the difficulties of herding "talent" together to produce the inserts, especially across an ocean, to congratulate Barrie and the crew for having the dogged determination to overcome the many hurdles and get the thing out.

It's a great looking set! But my pulls were definitely below average. Base card collation could have been better too, with from 2 to 8 copies of each number in two consecutively numbered boxes. Still, it's a nice set. ;-)

Boxes are 30 packs of 5 cards; 18 boxes per case. Expect 2.02 base sets of 72 per box if collation were perfect.

BOX 0029

Base cards: 1 complete set (72), 25 short of 2nd set.
Badges (5; 1:12 packs): Bonasera, Burns [sic], Messer
Autographs (8, averaging 1:23 packs): CSI-NY-A7 Chad Lindberg
Costumes (3, averaging 1:108 packs): CSINYS1-C3 Hawkes's shirt
Sketches (18 artists, averaging 1:77 packs): none
Gold Logo Box-Topper: 0029

BOX 0030

Base cards: 1 complete set (72), 25 short of 2nd set.
Badges (5; 1:12 packs): Flack, Taylor (complete set from 2 boxes)
Autographs (8, averaging 1:23 packs): CSI-NY-A8 Sonya Walger
Costumes (3, averaging 1:108 packs): CSINYS1-C3 Hawkes's shirt (again)
Sketches (18 artists, averaging 1:77 packs): none
Gold Logo Box-Topper: 0030

I was very pleased with my first case of CSI NY. I had a complete set of autos and costumes with an extra Sinise redemption card, 2x spare Carmine Giovinazzo autos, and 1 spare Mac Taylor Costume. Of course there were also numerous Chad and Sonya autos with about 4 extra Sheldon Hawkes costumes but the sketches....

1 Henderson, 1 RAM, 2 Redemptions and a fantastick sketch by Robert Hack of Bonasera Elephant
