front logo makes the sketch card smaller
- looks like the majority of them use it as a border

Elisabeth - how many more cases to go ?

Can't say I think much of the first 3 or the Green arrow but the rest are decent pulls and Remi always does stunning work.

I've opened 2 boxes so far (will post images of the sketch cards later today) and think this is a great looking product. I love the fact that the base cards contain new artwork. My only complaint is that the artist name is not provided for the base card. With some of the cards it's easy enough to read the artist signature, but there were others than had no signature at all or it was cut off.

Breakdown
Box 1:
Base set: 1
Parallel cards: 6
Work In Progress Cards: 2
Green Lantern Die Cuts: 2

Redemption Card: 1 Clap
Sketch Card: 1 Chris Bradberry (Cabbie)

Box 2:
Base Set: 1
Parallel Cards: 6
Work In Progress Cards: 2
Green Lantern Die Cuts: 2
Sketch Cards: 2: Chris Foreman and unknown artist

Congrats on the redemption Laura! Is it a sketch redemption or one of the original pages?

Thanks, I was pretty excited when I pulled it. It's a redemption for a oversized sketch card.

Finished opening up the packs from my first case and discovered this:

Smile

Also finished sorting inserts and parallels from both cases:
Lanterns - 4 complete sets, 13 extras
Works in Progress - 4 complete sets, 12 extras
Parallel - one card short a complete set, many extras (ended up with 7 damaged cards, 2 of which are the number I need to complete my set Frown )

I cracked my case tonight and here are the "money" cards...

The Good

2 full sets of each of the insert sets and only missing 1 card for the parallel set (before double checking).

Kid Flash by Jonathan Gordon

The OK

The Flash by Lord Mesa

Frankenstien by George Deep

Wonder Woman by Javier Aranda

Deadman by Ibon Coello

Supergirl (and Superman's chest) by ?

Fire by Dan Schaefer

Swamp Thing by Pablo Diaz

Sinestro by Mark Pennington

Grifter by Ian McAllister

The Ugly

The two boxes that were missing sketches

Time will tell on how I will do on this case once I get replacements from CZ but the set and inserts are outstanding.

Very nice sketches! What does the base set look like? My first and only DC set was RA's Batman Archives, I liked the sketches but the base set was lacking.

Not trying to be on the down but I am glad I passed on this set. For half collector / investor these sketch only sets just don't have enough value anymore. They have been over done. These companies need to get more creative like Breygent is doing.

I have an artist signature ID chart at http://www.jbadham.biz/Cards/sigsDC52.htm to help identify what everyone breaks. It's not finished yet, but more than half done.

Pulls from my four boxes:

I also pulled this rare do-it yourself sketch card with rainbow back, LOL!

It's actually some filler card from one of the uncut sheets, no doubt! Big Grin
