I think I need to be more selective in my RA purchases for a while. I know not every case will be a "winner" but with the losses on the last 2 products, it is just hard to keep pulling the trigger.

Great to hear everyone else's great cases though...good luck to those who have yet to crack.

I know the feeling on the Bond Mission Logs case. I got hammered as well.

Faired better on the Star Trek with a Spiner auto and 2 pins. Would have been nice to get a complete parallel set from the case, but oh well something to chase.

Just opened a case of Star Trek.

Summary:
Communicator Pins x2 (Picard and W Crusher)
VL x2 (Burton and Schultz)
L x8 (inc Joe Piscopo, Corbin Bernsen and Saul Rubinek)
Other autos x38 (with 8 dupes)
Tribute x2 sets
Aliens x2 sets
Enterprise x2 sets
Parallel set to be collated

Thoughts:
I love the base set for this release. Nice, almost old-fashioned, card stock. I prefer the matte finish for this.

Not too keen on the three chase sets. The Tributes is a nice idea, but it would have been better having a little info on the actor on the back. The same applies to the Aliens and Enterprise cards, which seems a bit of a missed opportunity; a Star Trek vessels set with comparison info on the back would have been cool (for the nerdy among us).

It was a very nice early surprise getting the little note saying there was a Communicator Pin in the first box and, boy, are people not wrong saying that the pack is THICK! Is it just me who is flipping those cards over like an old TOS communicator? Smile

Spare sets and autos will be up for trade.

How are people storing the Communicator Pins? I've put mine in 4 pocket sleeves but because of the thickness it makes the binder look to full with base and Parallel sets along with other chase and autographs. At the moment I'm storing the pins separately.

Same here. I'm using a 4-pocket page for my two plus the case topper.

I got my two boxes. Both are kind of "eh"- the pulls are good and I am happy to not have any duplicates, but I'm surprised at how few people I actually remember from their experiences, so I am not as excited to pull their autographs.

Box #1
Saul Rubinek as Kivas Fajo
Alan Shearman as inspector Lestrade
Dana Sparks as Ensign Williams
William Denis as Ki Mendrossen
Parallel: 22, 37, 46, 61, 66, 71, 80, 84
T3, 7, 8, 10
A5, 7, 10
E6, 8

Box #2
Nikki Cox as Sarjenka
Whitney Ryobeck a Ensign Alans
Jeff McCarthy as Roga Danar
Clyde Kusatsu as Admiral Nakamura
Parallel: 10, 14, 24, 29, 43, 48, 63, 68
T11, 13, 14, 15
A2, 6, 8
E7, 9
