I can't wait to dig into my case tomorrow (hopefully)! With the reports that we are hearing, there looks to be tons of value between the parallels and the patches even before you get to the autos and sketches.

Youch. I was hoping for a dozen max. Going to be a tough set to finish.

Fantastic! This is what I was hoping for when they announced they were doing the patches. With so many patches needed to make a set there should definitely be some decent value on these cards.

Way to go, Igman, congrats on the nice case, especially the autographs, and man, that Veronica can draw.

Hope to do as well with my case next week. (stuff takes a little longer to reach us out West).

I love that every single autograph card from a cast member who appeared in Empire Strikes Back is shown pictured from that movie, which most people consider the best one of them all. Maybe this is Topps' way of making up for the incredible scarcity of the autographs from the ESB 3D set a couple years back.

I found Blister packs at Walmart. Each Blister pack hangs on a peg, and is labeled:
"Jumbo pack! 16 cards"

The only big hit in the packs are sketch cards, which are 1:96. They also contain the more common inserts (but NO autos or patches).

I opened one Blister pack, and found one insert: DF-8.

Guess that makes the chances of pulling something like this pretty remote, as I found out yesterday the cards I did were put into retail packs. Smile

Had a blast opening this, contemplating buying more! I was hoping for one of the big three, didn't happen, but quite happy nevertheless!

Here is my one case break:

I think Topps did a great job with these.

Some really attractive cards, even for sticker autographs.

Now do these really belong in this product?

These are what you expect for $100 per box!
George Deep, Trev Murphy, Robert Teranishi, Rhiannon Owens, Jeremy F. Scott

The base cards look great as do the inserts. The three tiers of major hits are solid, but Topps still needs to do a better job with the consistency of their sketches. And of course they shorted me one hit so I'll have to jump through hoops to get my card. Shake Head

Congrats on the Luke auto. The R Teranishi is one of the best I´ve seen from him, Leia looks at the galaxy, end scene of Empire Strikes Back.

I opened one box to see how the set was. I got the correct number of inserts except I got 2 red foils so that was cool one was a Yoda. My sketch was a Glasheen which I gave to a friend, no patch but I very happy to pull a Mark Hamill auto in my third pack Metal Bouncey Elephant Dance. I was very surprised since I heard how tough they were.
