Congrats on all those autographs, but especially the Boyega. I was not sure if this set even had the new characters, but I know that the High Tek line of cards are very nice to look at.
I can't say that the sketches you pulled are worth it to me, but you may just have been unlucky there. The rest of the hits seem to be of a very good quality and diversity.

Yeah, that Finn is a wowzer, all right (and apparently the other just released set has a "Mystery Redemption" that's good for a Daisy Ridley Rey autograph.) Congrats!

The Biker Scout Sketch card is by the artist Francois Chartier... Hope that helps!

It does, thanks! Has there been anything posted on how to distinguish between the base and pattern variants? I couldn't figure it out.
Base short-prints are numbered with a letter. I had an Obi-wan #'d 37A.

I don't think Topps knows that sketch cards are not needed in every set. I would've been ok with autographs only and I see there are plenty more and variations to chase down. A very expensive set to attempt to complete but cards are beautiful.

That is a problem with the Tek cards. Background patterns can get confusing and some people just can't distinguish a super rare card when they find one, so you have to be very careful when sorting them out.
There is an ongoing discussion on Blowout regarding the patterns and colors for Star Wars High Tek. I won't even begin to try to repeat anything because I will probably screw it up. Take a look at the comments and I think it will explain a lot of it.

And here are my 4 sketches (3 case break above):
Veronica O'Connell of Starkiller / Unsigned of Mantu Veronica O'Connell of Shahan Alama / Eli Rutten of Emperor Palpatine
Looking at what some people have pulled, I feel very lucky with my sketches. I am a scenes / vehicles collector so I won't be keeping any of them, but they are all excellent. That makes up for my below average selection of parallels and autos.
Overall it's a nice set. Topps did a terrible job of actually promoting it, with too many other sets very close together and lots of confusion about what is in which set. But the base cards look good and the different parallel levels means there is something to collect for everyone. This message has been edited. Last edited by: tangent,

Topps moves in strange ways, but I think part of it here was the assumption that people knew what the Tek line was already. That was wrong. Sports card collectors are very familiar with Tek cards, but non-sport collectors never heard of them and didn't know how unique and important the various patterns can be.
I believe I commented somewhere on Card Talk after the Tek product was announced that it should not have been done at year end after people had thought that Masterworks was going to be the premium SW set for 2015.
The other weird thing about Topps SW products is this new wrinkle of confusing boxes. Is it hobby, is it retail, is it limited hobby, is it hitless hobby? I don't think that applies to Tek, but it is also something that Topps has done without much promotion outside of what dedicated collectors have to search out for themselves.

I have now decided it is Starkiller because I found the image it is based on.

Tangent,
That Starkiller and Emperor Palpatine are some of the nicest sketches I think I've seen from a Topps product. Well done!!
