A good question. Although The X-Files Connections is the first set to cover all 9 seasons of the series, it is not intended to be an episodic or season-based set. Like the Buffy and Charmed Connections sets, this set is primarily focused on some of the key "connections" from the series and is more character-based than season-based.

I didn't go into enough detail. Wink

There are 9 cards each for the connections of each major character: Mulder, Scully, Skinner, Doggett, Reyes, Lone Gunmen (3 in 1), Cigarette-Smoking Man, and Krycek. Doggett and Reyes didn't show up until Season 8 & 9, so any of their connections (and the ones to them from the others) had to be concentrated near the end of the series.

There's a number of characters who showed up two or three times in the first part of the series, but really the show didn't feature a large ensemble cast. There might well be a demand for a set featuring the haunting or mildly recurring characters. Like "The X-Files: Shamans, Sorcerers, and The Sinister".

Me, I can claim never to have seen any of the episodes first run and got introduced from the trading cards. Then, Season sets are always on my nieces' gifting lists, and if I pick up used DVDs I can watch them first. Roll Eyes

One of my girlfriends got me into X-FILES halfway through season 2. That was back when X-FILES was on Friday nights. It got easier to watch the show on Sundays. Especially during Football season. But it did mean that we had 20 people over at our house from noon (we lived in Milwaukee) to about 10:00 or 11:00 pm when we discovered Babylon 5 was showing on another station at 10:00. I watched every episode of X-FILES and most of MILLENIUM first run.

Thanks

They were three consecutively numbered boxes. I don't know if that helped?

(Box # 05469 - Is the number printed on the inside flap the Box #?)

BL-1

1 Complete set
+ another with only 6 missing (05,28,38,47,54,56)

24 XC- parallel cards

M5, M6, M7
HC2, HC3
A3 Smile

Was quite happy with the breakdown - no Costume unfortunately, but overall pleased.

I only bought this box as something to open until Atlantis is released but, being a big fan of the X-Files back in the day, I'll keep the complete base set and maybe sell / trade off the rest.
