I thought I would start a thread on advertising strips and sample cards of decades ago - long before distributing promos became a common practice. I haven't seen too many myself but I just saw this Elvis Presley 3-card strip (Topps, 1956) among the Completed Listings last week. It sold on Ebay for $1456 on June 20.
