wolverine651Advance Comics Venom holo sheet
I picked this up recently, as I can’t resist hologram sheets of any type or size. It is the venom promo holo from 1992 Marvel Universe inserted into Advance Comics.
I’m assuming it was cut from a larger full sheet (I think? Any thoughts on this?). Has anyone seen a full sheet of this Venom promo holo and if so, how many cards on the sheet? Also, has anyone ever seen or have the uncut sheet(s) of the regular holos from this set? (5 colored holos). Thats one of my grail uncut sheets and I never could find one anywhere.

pikoLooks like a normal sheet to me not cut from anything my opinion only.
Although Marvel is not my thing , check it against other Marvel Impel 4 card sheets.

I suppose it’s possible (heck kinda wish thats the case). The edges don’t look obviously hand-cut. Just seems like 4 to a sheet is too small for a sheet though. 1991MU by impel had 4 blocks of 4, so very well maybe was like this.
(Not my sheet, pic from online).
Could a promo sheet be different? Maybe…but maybe was just a full sheet cut into quadrants. Which would be a shame because I’m always against cutting sheets for any reason. Oh well. I doubt we’ll ever see a full sheet of this even if it does exist.

catskilleagleTwenty years ago, that was a very common promo. Every collector had at least one. You could find another one for under $5 - maybe even two for $5.
Fast forward to 2020-2022, new collectors who didn't have one suddenly wanted one and the value jumped. Since then, the value settled to roughly $5-10 - maybe more on a good day.
I don't think I've ever seen sheets of that, and I agree, that 4-card sheet must've been cut from a larger one. There were so many. When I say that, I mean the company did it - not someone cutting up a sheet later. It might have been an oddball giveaway within the company or at a show.
David R. or Promoking might have seen (or even have) something. It's a question for a longtime promo collector or a Spider-Man specialist who might've stumbled upon something at a flea market or garage sale.
