"The Jerry Lewis Show": DVD Release with cards
In addition to our remarkable visit to the Up house (see my other thread about the Disney “Up” replica), I came upon this oddity by accident when I was looking up news on Jerry Lewis. When my wife told me that Jerry Lewis was suddenly ousted from hosting this year’s MDA telethon, I went looking for news about it via Google. However, I got distracted by his official website.

On the website, there is an announcement that his company is releasing a DVD collection of his original TV show, “The Jerry Lewis Show”. However, it appears if you order the item, in addition to the DVD collection, you will also receive “six limited-edition collector’s trading cards, the first in a series”. I found the “first in a series” part interesting because the site features images from the cards – EIGHT images. So, it’s hard to tell what these SIX cards are supposed to look like. The DVD’s are set to release on November 24th. Happy hunting!

Very cool.

I've always been a fan of Jerry Lewis and all that he has done throughout the years with M.D.

It is odd though that this is being released on Thanksgiving Day.

Hopefully Sam's Club, BJ's, or Costco will carry these.

Thanks again Geoff for the 'heads-up'.

The good news is that the DVDs (not sure about the cards) are out there now. The pages you have here are at least a year old. The signed poster contest closed July 2010. You can order the DVDs for as little as 13.00. Again not sure about the cards.
