My most sincere apologies for my wee little outburst this morning. I was angry and offended and I directed that towards the wrong people. I do thank you for stepping up and taking action where it was needed and I thank you for the emails I've received that just make me feel WORSE Darn it you guys! You know you have my utmost respect cause there's no way I'd want that job.

remember everyone there is a little yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it at the bottom of each post which sends an alert, via email, to the moderators. We cannot read every single post, and often miss stuff... we rely on you, the Card Talk population, to point out things which may be amiss (that doesnt mean that they ARE amiss, but if you think it is, let us see it!)

And I should have used it when I read the original reply. I was completely & utterly grossed out which is not unusual for my reaction to that poster. I should have alerted Jon or any mod to the post.

You are not alone, having read the original (which came in the alert Joanna sent) - that would be one of those "all-hands on deck" posts, meaning the first mod who saw it would moderate it asap. Sometimes, we just wait til the mod from the specific section to get around to it if it isnt that bad, or is an honest mistake by someone. But other cases, we shoot first and ask questions later! lol

But, we do ened to know who sent it as sometime the mods may not agree with the alert and we'd want a chance to expliain if need be. I don't think it happens often, you guys seem to know what needs to be addressed
