I've been wanting to get in on this for sometime but I needed the right subject matter. My son and his wife provided that this year. So I decided to commission my 1st sketch at the last Philly Show. I chose Jim Kyle. It was an enjoyable experience. It may become a new tradition.

Thank you, Jim!

I don't post on this thread too much but yesterday I received some new additions to my sketch collection and two of them are now my co-favourite cards. These are part of the Strictly Ink 2009 Yearset and feature two characters from the last film made by Ray Harryhausen before he retired (though he is looking to produce a new film next year !!). These two beautiful images feature two far from beautiful creatures: the Kraken and Medusa from the original 'Clash of the Titans'. Both are the work of the one and only Sean Pence Smile

Besides the one I posted before (Snowbird), it's hard to pick between that and these:

I can't choose just one. How about 3? Razz

Oh come on Nick, while getting all 9 pieces of Frankie's puzzle is indeed awsome, it is not as cool as your new Scott Rorie. Wink

Following on from AJJ, here are some sketches I received for Christmas this year; some from the Scoundrel Secret Santa, the other as a personal gift from a Card Talker...

These are all by Chris Henderson and were my Secret Santa:

The DoctorDonna!

A two card 'puzzle' of the Doctor on the TARDIS;

Michelle Trachtenberg (Dawn in Buffy)

Marc Singer from "The Beastmaster";

The following was the personal gift:

The Doctor and Rose (in festive garb!) by Sanna U!
Au Res.,
Paul
