One of the last of those few great dames left from the 40's and 50's. She was a movie star in the era when they really had movie stars. RIP Ms. Bacall.

She was a terrific actor, and what a beauty! I loved the guest appearance she had on "The Sopranos" towards the end of that series.
Lauren Bacall, born Betty Joan Perske, had been 89 years old yesterday, but today, she is 19 again, and falling into the long waiting arms of Humphrey Bogart.
