And a fourth series has now been confirmed by the BBC for 2008 - Details Here though there is a certain amount of vagueness about David Tennant's participation...

Exellent news about a fourth series! I hope Tennant does stay, he is great. Going from Chris to David worked really well, and now we've got Billie to Freema, so I think a third new person in a main part might be a bit much!

Has anyone heard when Season 3 will begin showing on Sci-Fi in the U.S.?

The new Radio Times which was out today has 12 pages on the new Dr Who series which includes a brief summary on all 13 episodes. The last three also has Captain Jack. Earlier episodes feature a double episode of the Daleks. There's a new monster called the Judoon who reminded me of the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy TV series.

Thanx for clearing that up. You know, I always wondered why the English language spoken in the states isn't called American.

By the way, if you call a season a series in the UK, what do you call a series???

I would call a season X amount of episodes each telling a diffrent story.

First episode of Series 3 has just aired and it is good, really good. I wont reveal what happened, but it is a really superb start to the new series.

This was not a very good episode and will be quickly forgotten. Lets hope things improve.

Be fair Wolfie the whole purpose of this episode was to introduce the new companion and show why she made it on board the TARDIS ( very much like the first Eccleston episode Rose ) as well as to introduce the new season/series

It was better than New Earth in some respects but seemed slower than Rose and as for the straw
