I thought the episode was okay; not outstanding, but okay. The next post will have my thoughts about specific things. If you want to read it, highlight it.

The Bennett family relocating was interesting. I was glad to see HRG take down his boss (which of us hasn't wanted to do that? Lol). Mrs. Bennett is just plain creepy with her holding Mr. Muggles like that. And Claire is only in the 11th grade? They should have at least made her a senior.
Poor Hiro. Lol I have to empathize with a guy that tries his best but still makes things worse. Did they really kill Sulu??? Man, I hope not! I was actually getting intrigued by his character. And what took Ando so long to find a sword? The new brother/sister characters are interesting. How does the brother help control the sister? I'm sorry, but I kept waiting for them to shout, "Wonder Twins powers...ACTIVATE!" Lol It'll be intriguing to watch the back story fill in the four months between last season and this season. It looks like this season should be just as good or better than last season. |

I think that Hiro will become the Kensi SP?
legend that he has learned about through stories his dad told him. The englishman doesnt seem too interested in being the legend so Hiro takes it upon himself. Just my guess tho. Also, the necklace Peter was wearing was the one, or one like it, that the Haitian guy wore. This message has been edited. Last edited by: HIM, ____________________ |

I found it wasn't as great as it could be, but has settled some roots for the rest of the season.
The person that killed "Sulu" (if he did die) better not be Sylar, otherwise that will be such an anticlimax. I agree that Hiro will become Hansi (did I get that right ??) and that is meant to be his destiny. The siblings intrigue me. I'm hoping she is some kind of "Incredible Hulk" and her brother is the one to calm her down, the shows needs some mutated monster types, lol. Also, what was up with the Irish men at the end? Why did one of them threaten to beat up Peter when it was obvious that somebody had tied him up. It was like "Who took all the iPods?" (blatant sponsor plug, lol), "was it you man chained to the container??" Other than that I can't wait for next weeks episode, I hope Nicki/Jessica makes an appearance. ____________________ "You can't unfry things, Jerri. I didnt catch the preview for next weeks but someone told me my theory may be a moot point because Hiro helps him with a supposed power? My vcr cut off just before they kicked in with the preview so I didnt see that.
So while Hiro may either become the legend or is the one that leads the guy into becomming the legend. ____________________ |

Possible spoiler question about the episode!
What does everyone think about Nathan Petrelli looking in the mirror at the bar or wherever and seeing his scarred/disfigured face? Some people think it's just a guilt thing over him being alive and his thinking Peter is dead. OR perhaps it's forshadowing that he WAS disfigured in the blast at the end of Season 1. Either he has had help to "hide" his disfigurement, or he has developed a new power ala his brother... Any thoughts? ____________________ "I calculated the odds of this succeeding versus the odds I was doing something incredibly stupid... and I went ahead anyway." - Crow T. I was thinking the same thing. However, I'm more inclined to go with the guilt thing since he was still "mourning" Peter, plus he was drinking too.
Then again, like most things on Heroes it could very well be some new power, or something else entirely! ____________________ "You can't unfry things, Jerri. You can't be something you're not." - Chuck Noblet |

I was going with the guilt thing too but anything is possible.

Lat night's episode was pretty good. The Petrelli family is actually pretty interesting. The Bennett family, though, isn't very interesting.
But Hiro is still managing to steal the show. I could watch a show with just his adventures. |

Im really curious to see or get a better idea of who the new bad guy is.
It seems he can see anyone he thinks of, like the little girl, but can actually do something to them as he thinks of them. Seeing how he attacked Petrelli's mom, the view gave me that impression. However if that was possible for him, why didnt he do that to Hiro's dad, or would it have been just too easy? lol. I wonder if its not the little girl doing it with some sort of split personality type thing or the bad guy is manifesting himself through her. Too many thoughts and possiblities to think about lol. ____________________ |

I feel that the show is lacking something this year. Not sure what it is yet. Could be the absence of Nikki.
I feel that Claire and her family have run their course, and the virus thing isn't very exciting either. Peter's story is being ruined by the OTT Irish accents, and I'm still wondering why they were beating him up for stealing from them when he was tied up in the container?? ____________________ "You can't unfry things, Jerri. 1. They could have thought he'd been left behind by his thieving co-horts as a punishment. 2. They were testing him to see if he really had amnesia. 3. There's something mysterious we're not aware of yet. I'm curious as to what's in the book besides Peters name. |

I really want to know how they explain peters brother being alive.. The radiation alone should have killed him..
I think people will get turned off if they keep expecting you to go with the story and then not give any answers, it happened with Lost. I was hoping with the addition of new characters they would do away with some (Nikki, Sylar and a few others) but looks like they will all be coming back.. I hope they answer some of the questions and storylines before adding more.. |

Looks like the box will play a key part this year kind of like save the cheerleader... |

I think the symbol has to do with the bad guys and wonder if Kensi is behind it leading to a Kensi/hero battle in current day.. |

Two shows into the season and here's what I think is going to happen.
Takezo Sensei can heal because he's immortal (can you say "Highlander"?). In the 1600's, Sensei learned of his powers thanks to Hiro and becomes the legend he was destined to be. However, over the following 400 years, circumstances have changed him. In the late 20th century, he fought Kaito Nakamura, Angela Petrelli and the others. Now, he'll be back to take on the new generation of heroes. Eventually, Hiro will return to the present, convinced he set Kensei on his path to legendary greatness. Imagine his disbelief and horror to find that Kensei is the one behind the killing of his father and others. Hiro will come face-to-face with Kensei in battle, all the while trying to get him to remember that he was once a good man. (Can you say "Star Wars"?) As for how Nathan Petrelli could have survived the explosion, it's very simple. He flew Peter into the sky and dropped him just as he was about to explode. Before Peter exploded, Nathan flew out of range leaving Peter to detonate as he fell. Anyway, it'll be fun to see how far off my guesses are as the season unfolds. |
