We watched the premier episode tonight and thought it was pretty good. The show has a lot of potential.

What surprised me was seeing who was in tonight's episode....Seth MacFarlane in a dramatic role. He was only on screen for a couple of minutes, but he seemed to pull off the role. I hope he's involved in the series full-time.

Also, one of my favorite actresses, Alex Kingston, was in the show. She apparently will at least appear in the show every so often.

Oh, and Dominic Monaghan will be in next week's episode.

We get the first episode next Monday (after being promoted to death). Let's hope it's as good as your review, Kevin.

I didn't watch the pilot for this show but I read some tv critic reviews of it that said it was "the next Lost". Anyone agree?

I found it compelling, with a lot of potential. I hope the show survives...

This just aired over here on Monday night. I figured we were behind a fair bit, has it just started airing in the US as well?

I can totally understand the comparisons to LOST. Is anyone from LOST involved with this show at all? Calling the show Flash Forward, like the flash forwards the characters have had in LOST. The actress that plays Penny in LOST is in this and of course Dom Monaghan being in the next episode.

I can see it being one of those shows that if you miss an episode, you're not going to know what's going on in the next one. If the story does drag out I can see it losing those viewers who just can't wait so long for the answers.

In the pilot episode, there is a glimpse of a billboard in the background of one scene. The billboard shows an advertisement for Oceanic Air, the airline from "Lost". The slogan seen for Oceanic Air is "Perfect Safety Record".

The current speculation regarding that slogan is that the event shown in last season's finale' of "Lost" was indeed successful, thus making the Oceanic Air slogan true. It's believed that the billboard was put into the scene from "Flash Forward" as a type of Easter egg, not that the two shows are linked in any way.

And yes, the U.S. has only seen the first episode so far. The second episode is this week, so everyone else is only a few days behind the U.S.

So are LOST and flashforward on the same network over there??

Very interesting about the billboard, man you really need to be paying attention to these types of shows.
