This week was

Kolchak: The Night Stalker, the box set

Young Frankenstein

Chicken Run

I have a large collection of DVD's. I've been boycotting programed TV for about a year. I hate comercials and most of the show are just trash. IMO that is. Smile

I have seen a couple people mention this. Is this the original series with Darren McGavin or the newer show from a year or so ago? Loved the original and didn't know if it was on DVD or not.

I was referring to the original. It's been released as two sets. The first is a 2 disc set with the 2 TV movies and then a set with the series. The last time I checked Amazon had the movies for around $10 and the series for around $30. Definitely worth the price.

The boxset has all 20 original episodes from 1974-75. Darren McGavin did such a great job which made it a fun series to watch.

I agree! When I was a kid, we used to love watching that show.

I've been watching three new ones:

Curb Your Enthusiasm Season One - very funny; kind of an "L.A.Seinfeld" by the creator of the classic original Seinfeld

Unforgiven - one of the greatest Westerns of all time in my opinion.

Sideways - third time I have watched this one. A fantastic movie that is masterfully written and acted. I really enjoyed watching this with the commentary from Paul Giamatti and Thomas Haden Church. Very funny comments from these two.
