The Wild, Wild West Season 3 - Another wonderful season of this classic show!

Sky High - Fun movie that is both well filmed and sly.

Because I Said So - Not bad, some genuinely funny moments and another fine performance from Mandy Moore.

  • Galaxy Quest - This is such a fun movie!

  • 300 - This movie is incredible to watch on a big screen plasma TV with surround sound!

  • Kimba - I was SO disappointed. Someone actually wrote a new introductory theme song AND all of the voices were redubbed. Both the song and the voice-overs are AWFUL!

My new sound system included a new DVD player. With it, I was also able to watch my bootleg copy of Song of the South, one of my favorite movies of all time.

    Just watched these three:

Bosom Buddies season 2: Just as good as the first season.

Wonderfalls the complete series: Pretty good, although the novelty of the show started to grow a little old by the 3rd or 4th episode.

Dead Like Me season 1: Just okay. I wouldn't have finished watching it if the writer's strike hadn't screwed up my tv viewing.

I bought that set for myself Jack... Thumb Up And the way they edited out the stunt woman's head in the plate glass scene and replaced it with new shots of Joanna Cassidy's face... Eek magic.

    Three more:

Route 66 Season One - Used to watch this one on TV as a kid. I remember being confused as a kid watching this show as I thought it was 77 Sunset Strip. Couldn't understand why the two leads were different... Red Face

Family Ties Season Three - I still love this show. Genuinely funny and warmhearted at the same time.

The Falcon and the Snowman - Loved this one in the 80's. Still holds up with fine performance from Timothy Hutton. The soundtrack is one of my alltime favorites!

    Last 3 I watched:

George of the Jungle the complete series...Just as good as I remembered, however I feel the Super Chicken cartoons are very hit and miss.

X: The Man With the X-ray Eyes....It was okay, but I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much if Don Rickles hadn't been in it.

Charles in Charge season 1: I wasn't expecting to like it too much after a few of my other childhood favorites weren't as good as I remembered, but I found it just as enjoyable as I remembered. I don't know why they replaced this family for later seasons, because I enjoyed the characters. However, Buddy's character was much improved in later seasons.

it's been a while for me posting here but I don't get much of a chance to watch movies.

Here's the three I've seen most recently:

Frailty love the whole storyline and the acting is great

Fracture I'm on the fence about this one

Unbreakable My all time favorite movie on all levels- M.Knights best, in my book.

The last 3 i have watched:

Stardust - only watched it because it has 2 of my favourite actors in (Mark Heap and Julian Rhind-Tutt - played the frozen, and poisoned of the 7 ghost brothers)

Torchwood season 1 - didn't watch it when it came out, then started watching season 2 because of the James/John kiss - finally everything seems to be slotting in to place having watched season 1!

The Invasion - this film is all about people not sleeping because they'll turn into a soulless replicant - hmmm, as it sent me to sleep isn't that considered irony?

    1) Blade Runner: the Final Cut

I haven't watched this film in years. It's one that I didn't like much when it first came out (of course I was about 12 which may have been a factor) but liked much more as I got older (I felt the same way about Terry Gilliam's "Brazil" as well).

    2) The King of Kong

A documentary about a man trying to beat the world's record for the highest score on Donkey Kong and the resistance he meets from the current record holder and the family of people in the classic arcade gaming world who treat him fairly poorly. Sounds silly but a great film.

    3) Doctor Who: Survival

The final story of the original series, from 1989. Not a great story, but not too bad. I've been watching quite a few of the Sylvester McCoy episodes and they seem to hold up much better than I remember.

My mom watched my one year old last Saturday and it was movie night with some pretty good movies and one 80's favorite:

Fright Night- loved it back in the 80's, laughed with it now. It was great to 'go back' and see it again.

The Dark- Try and watch this one. It's not the best but it's really good. Gave me the creeps.

The Reaping- I liked it enough to want to add it to my collection but I'm on the fence about how it ended.

30 Days of Night- Bought it and loved it!! Brutal vampires is what the movie industry needs- not romantic/haunted souless ones out to semi-seduce women.... just my opinion Wink

Transformers - finally got around to watching it.

Highlander The Source - Roll Eyes Good to see some old faces again amd not as bad as some reviews that I have read. Must be a contender for worst film ending ever! DVD came with 4 postcards

Beavis & Butt-Head Volume 1 - very funny, very amusing. Ideal to watch after a cr@p day and work and you just nned to chill and switch off Big Grin

    Last 3 DVD's watched:

The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford: What a boring movie. I turned it off after 45 minutes because I knew I wasn't about to watch 2 more hours. I then let my dad borrow it because he's a big fan of westerns, and he stopped watching due to boredom a few minutes earlier than I had.

Mr. Bean's Holiday: Surprisingly much more enjoyable than I thought it would be, although it did start to drag a little in the middle.

Married With Children season 8: Finally we get to NO MA'AM. The show is still entertaining at this point, but some jokes, especially by Peg and Bud, really start falling flat.

MASH: Always a brilliant movie to watch, love the song Suicide is painless.

The Matrix: A superb film, very thought provoking.

Babylon5 The Lost Tales: Okay, but lacked a certain something. I have the whole B5 universe.
