Was not aware that Lawrence Montaigne passed away the other day at 86 years of age. He has numerous Star Trek cards, including at least seven autograph cards in various releases, right up through the recent 50th Anniversary.

He played two different roles in the original series, Stonn and Decius. He also had a lot of other TV credits in the 60s and 70s and remained active for quite awhile in later years.

If you're my age and live in the UK, then this latest departure will be really sad news. Former Blue Peter presenter John Noakes has passed away at the age of 83. There is a nice piece about him over on the BBC website:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-40083025

I doubt he has ever appeared on a Trading Card set but maybe there should have been a Children's TV series one.

Wendell Burton, best known for the play "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" in the 1960s, and the 1969 film "The Sterile Cuckoo" died last week at 69.

He stopped doing movies in the late 1980s and went into other business ventures outside of the movies and TV

The BBC website states that Peter Sallis died on the 2nd June 2017. He was well known for Last of the Summer Wine, the voice of Wallis from Wallis and Gromit. He was also in one episode of Dr Who.

I got to work with Adam West a few times. He was always wonderful... I Only saw him get upset once.... guys in Batman & Robin Costumes were being "inappropriate" . He had them removed from the show.

I am sorry to hear that. I wonder if anyone else on here from the UK remembers her take on Anne Robinson when she compered a version of 'The Weakest Link' at a 'Dimensions On Tyne' Convention way back in 2001 ? Absolutely hilarious Smile

Edit: she has a personal website though:

http://www.deborahwatling.net/index.htm

Amazing to see that May 27th was the 50th anniversary of her first appearance on Doctor Who !!!

I would post a Trading Card with her on it but I have yet to find a replacement image site after Photobucket started charging for third party hosting.
