I saw this yesterday and man was I disappointed. Believing the hype, I went in expecting a jump-out-of-my-seat thriller and instead got a bunch of a boyfriend and girlfriend bickering. The ending was kind of creepy, but it took what seemed like a very long time to get there. Everyone who went with me liked it though, so what do I know?

This movie was made for $11,000.00 and just grossed $22 million over the past weekend. The old saying is that there is a sucker born every day, but I think its a lot more often than that.

The hype on this film is worse than the Blair Witch Project. When I finally got around to seeing that one on DVD I couldn't believe anyone thought it was scary or that it made any sense at all. I guess this is just going down as another "event" for younger audiences, but from what I've heard (and that ending is telegraphed) I don't know if I care to see this one at all.

Saw it tonight. 7 of us went (I paid). Save your money!

Really? I thought it was great but not nearly as scary as the hype makes it out to be. It was definitely creepy and knew how to build some tension.

I liked it, probably because the version I watched had the original ending not the one shown in the movie theater..
