It has to do with Canadian law... they can side stepped them by asking the silly question.

Yup. Without the math question it is considered gambling, which is illegal in Canada (unless the government gets their cut of course, then it's perfectly acceptable). Adding the math question makes it a game of "skill", as silly as that seems.

so I'm glad the maths question is not sinply a slur on the intelligence of Canadians!

That's what I was thinking when I read that on the packet. I'm like, what do they think Canadians are stupid or something. Now it makes sense but I was really thinking "what the?"

Still no sign of my boxes today. I'm going to wait and see if anything turns up tomorrow before sending an email to the dealer I got them off.

I would give it till the end of the week.

I am still waiting for mine I expect them to arrive by the 16th latest if not I am cancelling

i remember first seeing the canadian question a few years back and i laughed. Its silly but its good for canadians.

Just wish there was a UK/European mail in offer too, maybe reduced the amount available etc.

Anyone found damaged cards in their boxes? I have seen several boxes/cases where it appears that the rollers from the machine has left indentations accross the cards. I have not bought any Heroes myself but did see them.

Yeah, unfortunately My one and only box so far had 78 out of the 157 base cards damaged. Someone else has had the same in the box breakdown threads, only his were cases worth.

My two boxes arrived just before noon today.

I'm part way though the first box and found the costume card it contained, in the first pack I opened. It was a Hiro jacket card. Full breakdown later after I've finished opening the two boxes.

I agree this wasn't one of my best. Due to tight deadlines, and the fact that Topps needed as many cards as we could do in a short amount of time, this unfortunately meant less time spent on each card. This is my very first set. I'm not apologizing, as I agree with you, this one suffered the deadline crunch. I'm going to be on for Season 2, and I promise that those cards will be of much higher quality. Thanks for being honest!
