Does anybody have more news about this set??
1 base set in 1 box?? rates about the inserts?? Anything ???? |

Topps very rarely give any guarantees about what you will find in a box.However based on previous experience there will be at least one and probably two base sets per box.
Regarding the inserts I believe it will be one high end insert(auto or costume or sketch) per box although the number of sketches suggest some boxes may have two. You could try the Topps website although this normally only starts giving out concrete info after the release.There is a link in the card manufacturers section of this website. |

Just 2 weeks to go. Amazing that there are 63 pages of posts for an unreleased product, that's gotta be a record.

Only thing I have seen is the sell sheet which shows a picture of packs and they show that there are 7 cards per pack. Lately boxes have contained 24 packs, but still, only speculation for now... |

I'm excited that this is FINALLY being released soon. It is a good combination of sketches, autos (great list of signers) and costume cards. Should be a lot of fun to open and artists have posted some amazing sketch cards! Can't wait!

Still no insert ratio but like always with topps we will know this when the set is released.

I'm probably going to regret holding off but I have a feeling it's going to be like 5 sketch, 2 autos and 1 costume card a case and the only autograph I see getting big money is the Claire.. Only wanting a few of the autos it will probably be cheaper to watch the secondary market.. But I probably will be kicking myself later...

Hey, some of us would absolutely love a break like that.  It is quite likely you are close to the mark too, adding up the sketch numbers for just the artists that we know the numbers for we have nearly 6000 sketches accounted for, double the original TOPPS projection (3000 sketches by 30 artists) and we don't have all the numbers yet. As for the autos, Hayden will rule but Milo and Masi both seem to have their own fans and should sell well. I think the autos will fetch good money - especially if there are only 2 or 3 per case as that would require 4 cases at 3 autos a case to even have a chance of a full set.

Remember, this is TOPPS so it's almost certain the most popular autos will be substantially harder to pull. I agree. Almost all the signers belong to the main cast. I'm only going for the autos en costume cards. I hope I can sell the sketch cards for good money, so I can buy the auto/costume cards I want.

I will definitely keep the autos as well as some selected high quality sketches. The rest will be sold or traded off as well as the costume cards.

Not sure what I do with the sketch cards as I'm not a collector of them. But who knows maybe someone creation will scream keep me, keep me.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with all the Heroes sets throughout the year. With 3 sets being released (if they are all actually released in this year) reminds me of when the 1st 3 Lost sets were released.
