Really? That is GREAT news in terms of getting additional signers and artists. But bad news if its because they are increasing the production run.

I heard the 22nd. I really won't be surprised to see it pushed back further though, TOPPS added at least 3 or 4 artists last week, even though they are only doing about 50 each they still have to get them done, returned and inserted into boxes so it might make it by the 22nd by I really believe it'll be delayed further.

Unfortunately the 22nd and 23rd is a holiday here in the States, so who knows when it will be out...

Everytime there is a topps sketch card set there is the same discussion about the quality of the sketches, which is in my opinion a little daft yeah of course we would like a full color mini masterpiece but there are so many artists and artistic styles and as mentioned each artist has differing constraints on their time. Either way the artists deserve to be rewarded for their efforts.
The reality is we all like the thrill of the chase whether it be via single card hunting or cracking open cases and boxes and the diversity of sketches facilitates this perfectly.
So far this set is looking awesome and I personally feel all artists deserve a massive pat on the back for their continuing efforts in making card collecting so great not only on this set but also on past releases. I really look forward to pulling your work in the future.

A week or two delay is fine by me but if they delay it into november I might get a little upset for the fact that I am so excited for this set.

Personally I dont mind if they delay the product till November due to Topps collecting more sketches/autos/costumes (Fingers Crossed) to put in packs. At least if it is delayed longer I will be able to save some more money to buy more of the cards I dont get out of packs on ebay, or to get stuff to trade for them. Though I understand where Gopher_Narly is coming from and cant wait to rip into them!!

I don't mind the delay either. Give me more time to save for the gaps I don't get out of the case.

Not sure whether I keep the sketches. Who knows

If there's really a delay, I would like to think that its due to the sketch card situation where a percentage couldn't get past the checking process and they have ordered new ones to be drawn as well as finding new artists to fulfil their previously planned allocation per case. In any case, I am glad as I am sure the sketches for this set would be of a high high quality!!

TRUE! Thats exactly what I am hoping for. That NBC (or in case that is incorrect whoever is approving the cards) has only approved cards that fans would be happy with. Though hopefully random sketch cards that are awesome aren't through out for nothing, as everyone has a different opinion on what makes a good sketch card.

Does anyone know where any images of sketch cards are posted? Have any artists posted their images anywhere yet? Any help would be greatly appreciated

If it's in November I am going to be hurtin! My other television obsession comes out that month (Lost) and both are sets I plan making a master set of. Ouch!

Oh man! Lost comes out in November! I didn't even think of that! I think I am just going to have to pretend Lost doesnt exist! That way I stay focused on heroes!

I don't collect Lost so no problems there for me.

Only other interests are 24 Season Five (whenever that surfaces)

Better to have a delay and get as many auto's as possible. We also need to remember that we have a (hopefully) second season to look forward to as well for others to sign
