Thanks for the info Barrie. It's a great shame that this problem occurred.I would have thought that you would have had some kind of action legally against Mr.Sinese or his agent if there was a contract and monies have been paid.

It's particularly frustrating as he has signed for the Donruss Americana II set.

Barrie-My advise is to ignore the negativity of some of the postings here and focus your energy in delivering what you promised-a kick *** make up set.(I'm sure as heck looking forward to October!)

Sure we could burn up the forum pages with lots of 'whys' & "hows' but it would achieve absolutely nothing.

"If 'ifs' and 'buts' were beer and nuts, we'd have one helluva party!

Guess thats what happens when you rely on redemptions.

Kardkollector-
I guess Im being negative in thinking that people have a right to be upset with this release. I guess Im being even more negative in thinking that a "gold foil auto card" is NOT a proper replacement.

I gotta agree with you that a 'gold foil auto card' isn't anywhere in the neighbourhood of the real deal!

But what option is there? Moan & groan? I'm out of pocket on a redemption card too!

SI said they are doing (what I guess they can) to make up for the disappointment by offering this AND still leaving the door open should Mr Gary (I used to be a Hollywood star but now am in TV) Sinise decides to put his pen to card.

While I am asking all those who sent in their redemption cards to restrain their e*hounds till Oct, I am certain that if SI fails to deliver, there're be an online reckoning like no other.

Until then, I wish SI all the best in making good on what we read in Barrie's posting.

Peace all!

I gave up on SI when I sent in a mis-cut auto card for replacement because they had told me they had mint ones in stock.

When my replacement came back, it was just as miscut as the one I sent in.

When this very same issue showed up in CSI Miami Series 2, I stopped collecting SI product and sold everything I had.

My apologies HIM
My reference to 'negativity' is only for the Sinise auto card thread.

ive collected all the csi set`s and was let down by the blood stained scarf card which was a rare insert in early boxs of csi ,then a year + down the line lots of them were inserted as a common in different csi box`s, so its not just the n/y boxs which were a let down.

Today I've received my last 2 Sketches.
Artist of both: Robert Aragon
Does anybody know how many Sketches he did? I can't find many of him for CSI in the net.

Hi, as the final sketches come in, they are being sent out, just a few to go, all of them are the rarest of sketches and tend to be no more than 1 of 10 done by that artist, we wanted to make sure your patience was highly rewarded where possible, many thanks, Barrie

p.s. Robert Aragon has done 10 NY, Vegas and Miami Cards for redemptions only.

In addition if at any time in the future Mr Sinise decides to sign the original cards these will be sent on the the redemption-ees. You do not own the actors, should they decide not to sign, that is their choice, you might want to remember these are real people and not products. I think some of you have got carried away on this issue, one issue after over 200 autograph issues from us over 10 years, its a poor scene for your criticism, we address issues and do not ignore them, so allow us to resolve this tiny problem as best we can and move on, many thanks. Barrie

With October just around the corner, it would be timely to notify those who sent in the Gary Sinise autograph redemption just what and when we will be getting the replacement you hinted at in August? Cheers-Mark

You guys have no faith! Thanks so much for supporting this new release, we have a lot of happy people. Finally, the last retail web boxes have shipped, with all the special 3 for 2 deals and other options on this projects, the sorting of it was a nightmare for those who work on retail. I got a reply from Elizabeth two weeks ago:

"We have no confirmed time frame for printing these cards. We will add these to our next printing sheet, but we know we
have to print them. So once we have them I will be back in contact with you."

Disappointed? You bet!

I've purchased a couple SI products at shows but after this I will not longer purchase any of their products. Pretty disappointing.

Side question:
Has Gary S's refusal to sign the cards affected your enjoyment of the latest season of CSI:NY?

I've found the Season 4 quite a snooze fest (ploddy plotlines & incoherent editing)and Gary S's prima donna behaviour ain't helping a former CSI:NY fan.
