Most of these US shows aren't filming until July because they don't want to start production in June and shut down if the actor's guild goes on strike at the end of the month. Gary Sinise is on his hiatus and he could be filming a movie or he could be on vacation. Signing cards is probably the furthest thing from his mind.

This is probably a silly question (and I'm not trying to be sarcastic or patronizing by asking it) but have you tried e-mailing them directly?

Still awaiting info on the Gary Sinise autograph. Any update Barrie? Everyone appears to be forgetting about this card, or are they just disillusioned.

HI ALL, thanks for your notes in this item, we have been trying to resolve this issue as soon as possible, when we have answers you will have your answers also. If we can't get what we have paid for on the cards, we will find a way to make those redemptions as cool as possible with the replacement we send out. Thank you. Barrie

Hi Barrie

I just wondered if you have given any thought as to what you will replace the Sinise autograph with as I get the impression from your post you are not too hopeful of finally getting the cards returned to you.

Somehow I don't think Gary Sinise is going to care much if I email or write a letter to his agent on Strictly Ink's & other collector's behalf.

I kinda think that is the manufacturer's job.

While I don't mind redemptions, I don't think it's right for a manufacturer to sell a product unless they have the 'redemption items' in hand - even if a contract is in place, or they are 80% or 90% sure they will get that item.

Simply because it leads to extreme distrust of that manufacturer for all future releases, and is just bad for the industry as a whole.

Any replacement short of some other piece of memorabilia with Gary Sinise's autograph is going to disappoint alot of people since a person's autograph is a pretty unique thing and is not easily substituted by any other item.

Good luck to all on this one...

If they had the redemption items 'on hand' then they wouldn't need to redeem them as they could include the items in the packs.

Generally, a signed contract means they 100% expect to get the items. Obviously, SI expected to get the signed cards when they included the redemption cards. Why would they include the redemption cards if they didn't expect to honour them?

If a replacement is issued for the Sinise autograph, it would have to be HUGE imo.
