Looks pretty awesome! And great to see they are coming our way soon.
When did "box Opening" become "Unboxing"
I admit I have never heard unboxing used in non-sports. I know the term from computer products....mainly Apple stuff. You see a lot of unboxing photos when new iPhones, iPads, iPods, etc. come out. But it works well for non-sport cards too. It's three less characters then box opening - Maybe you have Twitter to blame!
Just checked Cryptozoic website and noticed the sheriff badge swatch is limited to 16!
Please be in my box? Lol

I agree with you hammer. I'm a fan of the good old box break(ing)

I definitely prefer "Box Break" too. Maybe "Unboxing" is a CCG term? or maybe he just wrote that without thinking, and in the process came up with a new word for opening boxes.
It will be interesting to see if it catches on.

Nope not a CCG term. Just one of our web guys trying to be creative. This particular gent does come from the video game industry so that's most likely where he got it.
Also, just a quick note about our trading card graphic designers. The two who work on our non sport are not ccg graphic designers. They have years of experience designing sport and non sport cards. One thing we do stress as a company is to push the envelope on design. (not just for our cards but everything we produce)
Hopefully you'll enjoy our approach and we always love to hear your feedback.
Thanks!
Scott

Scott - no complaints about companies "pushing the envelope" on design all good in my opinion. Just don't "unbox" anything

I am also dying to know if there were any other surprises like the patches or late signers that were added!

Somewhere, someone is getting paid to make up all those savvy and sophisicated new words that butcher the English language. Than Oxford puts them in the dictionary to make the nonsense legitimate.
