Twilight
Twilight has been added to Inkworks' schedule for November. This set has some HUGE potential I think for bringing in new collectors given the huge following for the novel series and the hype for the film. The brief blurb says Autographs and Pieceworks will be included.

My daughter is really big on this series of books and looking forward to the film. Lots of her friends are into it too. I think this will be a great way to interst some of these fans to card collecting as well.

I'm glad to see Inkworks getting into this one

I love the books and am totally fearful of the movie. The joy in these books is envisioning them in your head. I cannot see any actor being able to pull off Edward at all. The way she writes him is just absolutely gorgeous and I don't wanna be disappointed.

I agree, if the movie is as popular as the books are with the teen crowd this might get some younger collectors into the hobby.

A Kristen Stewart autograph would be at the TOP of my wantlist even ahead of a possible Jennifer Love Hewitt(Ghost whisperer) and Scarlett Johansson(The Spirit).. Only one I would want more is Eva Mendes(The Spirit) Big Grin

Well, now this set is going to be the highlight of my year! Along with the release of 'Breaking Dawn' (book 4) and the movie. I can't wait!

I just posted this news up on a Twilight site I work on, so no doubt it will be all over the Twilight sites in the next few hours! Big Grin

The movie is based off the first book in a series by Stephenie Meyer. It's basically a vampire/human love story for teens, but it's pretty addictive.

Granted I've probably only seen about 10 Buffy episodes (blasphemy, I know Red Face) I will say there is a difference between the two lead females - Buffy is a very strong character, whereas Bella is a very weak one. She constantly needs to be protected, most of the time from her own bad decisions, and is most often the damsel in distress. It's for this reason that Alice is my favourite character of the books. I do look forward to seeing how Bella is portrayed in the movie, I've heard it's not quite the same as the book.

I've never heard of these books, but I'm way past material geared towards teens. Big Grin

I just hope this set lives up to the hype, as I recall many of you were just as excited last year when Inkworks announced they were doing the Golden Compass. Frown

I already have a 8 1/2 X 11 licensing card to this film (available for only 3 days at a trade show in NYC NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC) and a promotional mini sampler from the book series. Both are for trade. Look in the trading section for my wants.

As far as The Golden Compass goes both the film and the card set lived up to the hype. Both were superb.
