I can't believe they will stand pat with that. RA has to be waiting on at least a couple more actors from SPECTRE. Either that or they are just maintaining the suspense. Big Grin

Funny that eh?
I've never liked that pic of Seymour and it seems to get used A LOT. But hey that's why I'm never sick of repeats, they allow us all to pick and choose the cards we REALLY like. Now, I need to try and find me the old one...

And +100 on Seydoux! Clap

I am still waiting for Paluzzi to sign again
that is the one fullbleed I stongly dislike the picture
and would not say no to a better picture of Michelle Yeoh

I could not agree with you more Damien, especially for Paluzzi. Her current full-bleed is cropped so close you can barely see her and I am desperate for a better card from her. I don't get why RA ever used that pic in the first place. One of my top 5 Bond girls, and the first real 'villainess'. She gets lost amongst Ursula Andress and Honor Blackman when people think of 60s Bond films, but Paluzzi's character was as good, if not better.

I think Yeoh's current full-bleed suits her 'action' heroine character, but I would also welcome a repeat that uses a more glamorous picture.

And not that I need one(!) but I would be interested to see if Halle Berry has another full-bleed stashed away.

The Catherina von Schell full bleed is worst than the Paluzzi to my eyes. Paluzzi's chin just kind of fades away to a haze. The von Schell looks like someone cut off her head and placed it on glass. I don't know what she's smiling about. Big Grin

I really do prefer the full bleeds, but the occasional floating head does pop up, pun intended. Wink

Had to look the Schell up Raven... I still think Paluzzi's is the worst. At least you can see all of Schell's head even if it may look a bit like she's been decapitated!

For me, whenever I think of Paluzzi its in her outfit with the blue scarf:
http://vignette3.wikia.nocooki...st?cb=20130507230318

And for Yeoh, something like this would be nice:
http://vignette1.wikia.nocooki...st?cb=20140407084748

Two other full-bleeds I think we really need to see repeats of are Shirley Eaton (with a picture of her covered in gold paint), and another Izabella Scorupco because her first one is too hard to get and we could have a totally different picture than the white bikini.

Too many fullbleed variants is maddening when your collecting them in film theme characters, the new Britt Ekland is welcome, nicer image and her FB was an error card, they kept us waiting years for Terri Hatcher and Jane Seymour, then when you finally get them, here they are again, a third Maryam D'abo, lea Seydoux, brilliant (but odd image to pick ?) and at last a Joe Don Baker Whitiker, nice
seeing as the Roger Moonraker image isn't up, assuming it's 40th, but hope there is going to be a FB of that one, looking forward to the Spectre set (loved the movie) and Damonds at last.

Looking at the incentives they really dont seem to be much of an incentive to me.Dont get me wrong an auto relic is cool but Jonathan Pryce as Elliott Carver seems very lack luster for 9 cases and Clifton James for 18 cases just blows my mind.I really cant see anyone thinking hey i better up my order to 18 cases so i get that Clifton James card lol i know its all about the archive box but odd choice.6 case dual is cool but again not much of an incentive more like well if one falls in my lap then ok card.So far i think my wallet is very very very very safe as i see 0 cards i am interested in but looking forward to see final checklist before i commit any funds to this release.

RA has the same problem with Bond autograph cards as it does with the Game of Thrones series. They have hit all of the high notes they can reach and the repeats have only made those less special. Collectors are now yawning at another Craig, or Moore, or Headey, or Dinklage. These are the major stars and collectors are getting excited about the first time of a Jeffrey Wright, overrated, and this time Denise Perrier, don't know her.

Who would make for a good incentive? Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton, Diana Rigg, Robbie Coltrane, Christoph Waltz, Javier Bardem, none available so far. Seydoux would have been good at least as the newest Bond girl, but they need her name in the regular set mix to give some more weight to the boxes. What happened to Belluci? I still think a couple of more SPECTRE actors will appear, maybe her?

As I have said before, I don't even like the look of the gold/silver incentive autograph style. It sounds like those inks against a black background would really pop, but too often I see thick lines, thin lines, light lines and streaky lines using those pens.

These multi-case incentives are really the bonus afforded to the dealers, certainly no normal collector is buying 6 cases just for the autograph card attached. So if anyone should be complaining about the incentive choices or formats, it should probably be them. Wink

I wonder how many more Bond sets RA can crank out. Originally there were supposed to be 2 in 2015, but they bumped the second one to this past spring. Now a 2nd one is coming in Nov

They say the next film won't be until 2018 or 2019. More than 1 card set a year for the next few years is too much, IMHO

Then you are not a normal collector. You are a dealer, full or part-time, who also has a personal card collection. Big Grin

A good point! They have always been a bonus for the dealers and I have never had a problem with that as a collector.

I remember a few years back when incentive cards created A LOT more negative comments from collectors than they do these days. I guess that is because so many of the actors featured on incentive cards are now repeats. I mean, besides master set collectors (of which there don't seem to be many these days), who can really get that upset that Honor Blackman's card in the last set was an 18-case incentive when she has 3 other full bleed autos available, as well as her 40th and WOB style autos?
I think this allows dealers to have a bonus and it keeps the manufacturer on the collector's good side. I would HATE to see any 9/9/18-case incentive cards be of any new names you mention like Connery etc. UNLESS they have other more accessible cards available.

I just find the incentives for this set a little 'meh'. The last set we had Judi Dench, Daniel Craig and Honor Blackman as the 6/9/18 vs. Beswick & Gur, Jonathan Pryce and Clifton James this year. To me the last bunch are look very 'mainstream' and the new lot are more 'specialist'. Why not have mixed those 6 card up a little across the two sets?

And the more you mention it, the more I'm not loving the black card/metallic ink incentive cards. Great idea but executed poorly - and it's the pens! Like you say, all very inconsistent looking. Streaky, smudged, thin, thick, gaps in the signature... Judi Dench's are the worst and the pen used looks horrific, and that is such a shame for such an important name in the Bond series.
But I don't get it... I have had people sign trading cards at conventions with gold/silver Sharpie brand marker pens and they come out looking fantastic. I have posted some on this forum and whilst the scans don't do them justice and can can look dull, they certainly DO pop in real life. They may need a few extra seconds to dry but there no streaks, have good flow and are thin enough to work on a small card despite being a 'marker' pen. The pens RA are using are terrible.

As for those collectors yawning over repeats of big names like Craig... I have no time for collectors like that. I don't mean to sound ignorant to the way others collect, but they don't know how good they've got it. In all my time collecting I have seen too many people frustrated (to the point of quitting) because that the good cards are too rare, hard and expensive to get. Now we have the best names more available than ever, and at increasingly more reasonable prices, and people still complain. The manufacturer can't win! I'll take a wide choice of cards in different styles, and at good prices, thank you very much.

It is almost as if collector's don't appreciate that after 14 years of RA making Bond cards, having a choice of 600+ auto cards to collect, after the vast majority of top names have been obtained... new big names will get ever harder to come by. Each new film only has a small cast, none of which may have wanted to sign.
I am thrilled to see Cremona, Seydoux and Bautista on board and in only 3 names represent nearly half of the main SPECTRE specific cast. The only others being Christoph Waltz (too hard to predict but reckon he may sign), Andrew Scott, Monica Belucci, and Stephanie Sigman (who I think will all sign). Ralph Fiennes is not SPECTRE specific but I don't think he will ever sign, but you never know.
And Rittenhouse have already done a stellar job getting Daniel Craig, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear and Jesper Christensen to sign cards and I hope we will see "yawn inducing" auto repeats featuring SPECTRE images in this set or another.

Maybe you find the likes of Jeffrey Wright 'overrated' Raven but he was the last big name missing from Casino Royale (besides Eva Green) and a HUGE addition. Not least because of the importance of his character in the films/books and because he was one of the very few names Rittenhouse previously confirmed as flat-out refusing to sign cards so I don't think anyone thought would happen.
As for Denise Perrier, not a big name for sure but I am happy to see her because she is not a person I ever thought of to sign cards, so that is a nice 'surprise'. A small role but a fun scene she was in, and I for one like to see rare Connery era signers.

I forgot about Eva Green, definitely belongs on the list of most wanted and seems just as unlikely to happen. Neither Green nor Dalton signed for Penny Dreadful and they were the big stars in that one. Frown

I love the repeat autographs too and will never complain about the increased supply of a good name. With GoT I have been able to get at least one signature of every signer to date, not so with Bond, but there are way more names and the high cards are much higher.

Just as a comparison, these are my figures, which include the first 15 new Bond autograph cards that have been announced in SPECTRE:

GoT - 122 signers on 249 cards.
Bond - 282 signers on 652 cards.

Let's not even talk about the relic cards that have been very important to Bond, but have hardly appeared in GoT.

Anyway, RA does a great job getting signers and despite the yawn factor for some, it's just because they have done such a good job that new blood is so hard to find.

I won't take Wright back though. Big Grin

I am sure Rittenhouse will have plenty more Spectre autograph cards such as Spectre goons, waiters, government chiefs ect.

This may have been asked and answered before, but what are the toughest Bond autos to find ?

That is, does anyone know which specific autos that RA did for Bond, were produced is the smallest quantities and/or which turn up the least often ?

I don't think any of them are tough to find but some are getting very pricey due to so few coming to market.

Barbara Bach WA3 women of bond in motion would be such a card.

I'd say there are quite a few Bond autos that are very tough to find. You could be there, money ready in hand, and some cards just don't pop up for very long periods of time.

Tommy, I would check out this thread where the Bond autos and their rarity are discussed at length:
