Hi All:

We just got this piece of news from Topps. Rather then reprint everything, I'll post the sell sheet...hope it's readable. They're trying to get the word out that Heroes 2 is now Hobby only!

Harris

Thank you for the info Harris!

Wow wow wow. I am freaking excited as heck for this now...

So many great new signers including a couple I was preying for! I hope they do get Kiersten Bell though. The best thing about the set is that the autos/sketches/costumes will all be inserted equally! Such great freaking news!!! Also save the sale sheet, if you get a dud box you have a GUARANTEE right there from Topps that each box must contain 1 premium insert.

The best part about the sell sheet though? 3-hour debut of season 3 on September 15th....my birthday!!

That is just a mockup and most likely will not be what the final autograph looks like.

Beggers can't be choosers anyways.

With a guaranteed sketch, auto or memorabilia per box PLUS the equal ratio promise, this sounds a much better deal for case buyers and dealers.

Isn't it now shipping July 2nd now though, and not June? Confused
That'd make the sell-sheet wrong already, but they're not guaranteeing the release date. Big Grin

Funny they credit James Kyson Lee as a first-time signer Big Grin

Looking forward to the set by the way. The Larter auto is a must have.

Now don't get me wrong, I like that Topps is trying to get the word out... But...

They promised that Indiana Jones Heritage would be Hobby Exclusive too. But when it came down to making a buck they apparently decided to do a retail version too.

And, I have to agree with Redemption. Never saw Series 1 in retail around here anyway.

My orders are due soon, at least I have some information.

Ed

I saw Series 1 in two different Targets out here in Los Angeles. They didn't last all that long though. Within a week or two they were gone and never restocked.

I was in the Fort Bragg PX this past weekend and they had both the 24 count Retail boxes as well as the mini-boxes of HEROES.

Well what can we say about Topps? Their website still has this as being both Hobby and Retail.

all inserted at equal ratios

So to even it out Ando signed 1,000 while Ali signed 25 Smokin'

So in an 8 box case you should only get at MOST 3 costume (wonder who the parkman will be this time)..

I would rather spend money getting season 1 cases as the autos are the best and all belongs to the main cast. Even though most cases have 2-3 parkman costume cards, the autos and sketches often make up for it. Come on, at least Waterhouse didn't take part in season 1 sketches, right? Wink

As someone who has but together about 6 full sets of lenticular cards, I have seen them everywhere...Target, K-Mart, Walmart, Meyers and even video store chains. I have yet to see a single box of Indy Heritage though.
