Is this the seller who sells stuff like laminated badges, fascimile autographed homemade cards etc that I have reported a couple times?

I remember a thread shortly after comic con last year and that being the only time I saw the cards. You could always send the card in to one of the autentication companies to see if they are authentic..

The image is a direct pull from this: http://brightcove.vo.llnwd.net...88176_twilight01.jpg

But it has had all it's copyright information removed. Also at the time these cards would have been produced inkworks was still alive and producing cards, they had paid a good sum for the license. These cards have no inkworks logo and are not at all the type of cards they make. Keep in mind the Summit Ent cards were produced by them and and had all copyright info on them as the inkworks cards ALWAYS do.

These are homemade, are the signatures real? Possibly, I have seen a lot of Meyers autos on books and this is passable, just about. But it's an easy one to fake, the others are also variable when you look for authentic samples.

The fact that the cards are not licensed and are probably homemade, would lend to the fact that they may not be real. I would not touch these, I certainly would not pass them on. They look nice but they have zero provenance. I have been through list after list of SDCC exclusives and these do not show up on any of them, and no one has another set. I think thats because there isnt another set to have. Sorry.

I started a thread when this card first came ouf (found it).. As you can see by the post date (first of Sept) it might be the same auction you won since I have not seen the cards before or since...

And this was posted at the time by H Toser Big Grin
I spoke with Allan Caplan today about this. Allan thinks buyers should be wary. He says Inkworks printed all the cards for Comic-Con but did not print these. And that to the best of his knowledge and based on the design elements involved, buyer beware!

Thanks for all the information...I'm disappointed I was taken, but at least I know the truth now. A hard lesson learned, but the "learned" part is what is important. I won't make this mistake again.

Yes, too bad I hadn't found this site before I made that purchase! It was a total impulse purchase, which was a big mistake. I should have done some checking before buying. Now, I'll come here with anything that is questionable.

I have come across two exclusives that I have not seen mentioned. Hot Topic has an exclusive card like they did in the last release, HT-1, and I pulled a T-1 from a Target pack (The puzzle cards are also "T" cards, but this is not a puzzle card), it has gold foil stamping on the front and is titled "Goodbye". It would seem this is a Target exclusive, with the "T" on this card representing Target. I will post scans of the cards when I get home from work. There is no mention of either of these cards on the Hot Topic or Target packs.

Toys "R" Us has New Moon blister packs containing 3 packs for 4.99. Much cheaper than the regular 2.99 per pack I've seen elsewhere.
