I don't want to scour the boards looking for the post but I think someone said the NECA run was roughly 10,000 sets worth? where as Inkworks was 5,000? But PLEASE don't quote me on that because I'm not sure.

I've seen the NECA boxes pretty high too and it seems more like dealers are trying to cash in on the Twilight hype and madness instead of treating it like a regular set. The only inserts in the boxes are the foil inserts (all 18 of them) that have been tweaked with the different logo just like everything else.

If the $80 NECA boxes are selling I don't know. They didn't seem to be moving much at comic-con. But binders and sets were when I was around card dealers. The Amazon deal was really pretty nice especially for the price. But it does make me worry about future sets. A lot of collectors could end up with extra product just to complete sets if exclusives continue down that direction.

I think Twilight : New Moon is released in November.

Has anyone heard anything about a set for the film.

I know there were promos at Comic Con, but did anyone hear anything about an actual set?

I got into the Inkworks Twilight collection right at the beginning and now have a complete set. Therefore, I'll be sticking with it and passing on the NECA version. I am pleased to learn that someone has taken over the license for the trading cards. I knew that Inkworks had gone out of business and so I was worried there might not be anymore cards. I'll probably look on ebay and see about picking up the Peter Facinelli auto card to add to my collection. Still need to pic up this years SDCC New Moon cards. (I've been too busy buying cards for my Artbox Harry Potter collection to do so!) I have last years SDCC Twilight cards, plus three exclusive auto cards given out then: Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Stephenie Meyers. Anyway, I hope we hear about some information on the NECA New Moon cards soon!

First off, thank you for the welcome.

Here are scans of the cards...pardon the poorer quality scans! Now let's see if I can post these correctly. (Keeping fingers crossed!) If they are too big for the site rules, please let me know and I'll resize them.









This is what the back of all three cards looks like.

As you can see on the scans, on the front, bottom right it gives the number of the card out of 100. I purchased these on ebay right after SDCC 08. It was the only time I've seen these come up on ebay. I guess the fans who got their hands on these are holding onto them.

I think some other lucky soul posted those pictures last year. Pretty sure of it as they look familiar to me. I'm thinking since there only 100 of them, none of us "regulars" (irregulars?) were lucky enough to get 'em.

Yes, H_Toser, given there are only 100 of each, they are going to be very hard to come across for collectors. I think this must be the best card score I've ever had.

damien, I just went to my Feedback section on ebay to look up the transaction. Yes, that is what the sellers letters start with...seems you know him. I was surprised to see that I left feedback in September of 2008...I could have sworn they went up for sell right after SDCC. What a sharp memory I got!! lol!

Oh, yes, I almost forgot your other question, damien. They aren't laminated. I have them in those hard protective covers. I didn't want to take them out and chance getting them dirty.

That makes me want to throw up! I really hope I wasn't taken. No, I haven't come across them anywhere else, but then I completed my Twilight collection very quickly and haven't looked on the Internet for Twilight cards since then. I wonder who I could contact to find out if these cards are legit? I guess Summit would have been the most likely source of the cards...if they're legit that is. Maybe I should try sending them an email or maybe writing them. Boy, I really hope these cards are one thing that jerk didn't fake!! Thanks for the heads-up.

I hope they aren't fake. I'd never heard of them either until now, but I wasn't interested in Twilight when the cards were released, so I didn't pay much attention.

I do remember when some of the Heroes cast did a limited amount of comic con autos and it was common knowledge amoung most Heroes collectors that they existed.
