I see someone has already listed the Philly Promo on "That Site" at $74.95.

They didn't get it from us on Friday, I can tell you that. $74.95 is insanely high, not that the card isn't a great one! But we gave these out promo packs all day today and they are no more rare than others. Will be giving them out with admission tomorrow as well while supplies last. Come to the show - you'll be getting a great value for our measly $8 admission rate.

The only people who had that card prior to the show were Topps employees and Harris. By the end of summer there will be several thousand of these floating around, so keep that in mind when looking out for them online.

I might try and get over again to the next Spring Show. Trouble is I have to plan my Holidays (vacation) 18 months in advance.

Part of the problem with our hobby is not just that there are always people looking to take advantage, but that there are always people waiting to be taken advantage of.
I'm glad you pointed this out, maybe it will save someone from themselves. Promo cards are free, at least someone, some place got them for free. To be the first one on your block to get a promo card at $74.95, when a few thousand will be out soon is just being dumb.

Regarding the early eBay posting of promos, as soon as an image of the promo is available, one can post an auction. You can't assume that they had the promo in hand only that they may be confident in acquiring it soon.

Beginning today on our facebook page, we are posting a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the new set.
We will continue posting sketches, notes and other development assets throughout the summer.
Outstanding! Thanks for posting these Martian Commander.

I'm guessing Joe jusko is a fan of Ray Harryhausen's 50s classic 'Earth vs the Flying Saucers' as this scene could have been straight out of it

Good call, Kevin. Joe did mention in his email when submitting this sketch that the weapon was a nod to Ray. Plus there is even a mention of EvFS in the image, though you'll only see it in the finished painting.

Just noticed a four piece sketch for the book release of Four Martians looking like "The Beatles walking over the Road" like the Abbey Road Album Cover. This looks really neat, I wonder if they also sing!

Fun seeing the early images. It makes me wish you would release these as a coloring book as well.
