There is a Bruce Jenner autograph in Pop Century, as well as several Bruce Jenner autographs in other products.

I wonder if Leaf is still sitting on Bruce autographs, and if so if they would get flack if they released them. . . I also wonder if -- due to available Bruce stickers -- we will eventually see a Bruce/Caitlyn dual.

Page's autograph has seen a pretty significant jump since the news, but I suspect once the news dies down that will not last. Autographs of females are generally significantly more expensive than those of males likely due to collectors largely being male. I suspect long term that may have an impact on Page's autographs, but as has been pointed out the value will largely depend on the future body of work.

A Page auto ended last night for $119. That's the lowest price I see in completed sales.

Previous 5 sales I can see sold prices on:
12/6 $208
11/29 $141
11/22 $189
11/4 $185
11/28 $192

Auctions from the same seller for other cards were really strong in the last couple of days -- higher than previous sales for the cards I looked at from the same seller.

Time will tell if someone just got a really good deal, or if fewer people are chasing this card.

I was wondering the same thing. I was watching several Umbrella Academy cards but honestly forgot about them and saw they all ended a good bit lower then normal. Could be the holidays could be interest is starting to wane.

The only other Umbrella auto I was watching was Emmy. Last one from this seller (12/6) sold for $78. I was hoping for a nice slide, but the 12/26 sale brought $99. Not sure on any others. I was mostly watching Buffy and Shield autos.

Seems unnecessary to start a new thread for RA's Umbrella Academy 2024 Autograph Expansion release. Coming out as two packs of 15 autograph cards each. Price is $300 per pack. Buy two and get the whole set, although the whole thing looks like only 21 different cards, including the 4 duals.

I never watched this show and only know about 4 of these signers by name. Elliot Page isn't here and that probably helped to force the Expansion decision. This is why it's risky to spend money on a card license, even when the property starts out hot. This one has just fizzled away with the time lapse and a missing star.

Hmmmm Interesting. I thought I had read somewhere that they had cards signed as Ellen in house already. I guess from a collectible stand point what has been released is done and over.

Being a fan of the show David Castañeda and Tom Hopper are the big hold outs from the first release. Ritu Arya is a really cool character as well. Only David has not signed for anything else.

I think that was the rumor, but if RA didn't get them all out before, it would likely be seen as at least inappropriate to try to release them in a new product.

The solution would have been to make a replacement card, but perhaps there was issue doing that too.

As a product it really is a good deal....what's that? About $20 a card? If I was a flipper or first time collector I would be all over it.

Annnnnd I just talked myself into buying one. All of the cards I don't have are in both groups. Smile

Looking forward to getting my two sets since I have a master set of the first series. I have a feeling the sets will close the door on Umbrella Academy

I know I am really close to a master set and I have a lost in space master but really didn't see any need to get the autograph expansion release for that one.

Will be interesting to see how they wrap things up on the show with season 4 being the last.

Don't know how all this works but it sounds disgusting that Rittenhouse should do this sort of thing.

RA has been putting these autograph packages together on titles that they determine don't have enough demand for the full-blown set that they originally planned. They'd rather get rid of the autographs fast and get their money back, than risk not selling through or having their dealers turn on them for getting stuck holding the bag.

I was offered these cards through a small dealer too, but it was at the same SRP so I turned it down. I don't know if he ever actually got it or not, but if RA had to allocate it, maybe they made a mistake dumping the title.

I guess I don't understand the dealer side of something like this. Just assumed they had to order through the website like I did.

We do order through the website, if we have a business license we get dealer prices. Distributors get distributor prices. And you get retail prices. Rittenhouse has their retail prices higher so they don’t undercut their dealers. There are several friendly dealers(full disclosure, me, but there are other good dealers here too) on this board that would happily sell you Rittenhouse products for cheaper than their website. Obviously not Umbrella Academy though. Those are sold out.

Yep, that is more or less how it always works for all card makers, with sometimes a few extras thrown in, like dealer incentive cards. It's the food chain and everyone has to have enough room to make a profit as the product moves through the tiers, with the eventually final sale to someone who actually wants to keep the cards. Big Grin

If you are a regular retail buyer at any outlet, that dealer should be able to cut you a break off the SRP, unless they are getting it off the secondary market or at retail themselves. If the product does not move for an extended period of time, it starts to get discounted by whatever tier group is stuck with it. Discounts can be substantial and still be above cost. If it goes below cost, then someone has to sell into a loss and that is the worst-case scenario.

Like your $60 boxes of Dr. Who 11-12.

Got my pack in today. Always thought it was odd that Hopper and Castaneda weren't in the first release. It looks like 3 of the 4 Castaneda cards were supposed to be and then RA got him to sign the 4th one (long hair).

Tom Hopper, Robert Sheehan and Colm Feore are all dated 2020. The newer cards aren't dated at all.

Yes I understand the price relationship between manufacturers, dealers and retail. I was simply referring to such a limited product that was sure to sellout to customers on line. Or was it? Do you have a good record at getting these short run products from them? Or do the distributers absolutely get product and then dealers get lost in the shuffle? My assumption with something like this was full price for everyone.
