RRP per Box $94.

Seems like everything is going up except wages! It's getting really tough to collect cards even for the ardent collector.

Devastated Javier Bardem is not on the auto list Shake Head but still can't wait, can't wait for anything Skyfall and the full bleed auto list, which is looking good with the new Roger and Bruce Glover.

The name of the set is a bit strange, isn't it? Kind of a "does-what-it-says-on-the-tin" name. What's next? A "James Bond - Pictures On Some Card With Writing On The Back" set?

I thought this set was going to be just Skyfall related, but it seems to be a mix of mostly Skyfall with a few other bits and pieces which don't really make sense to any particular theme. Confused Strange.

My family and I loved Skyfall and would have considered a case if it was solely on that movie, but I think I might just pick out one or two pieces of the set now and not collect all of it. Just as well, as Game of Thrones 2 used up a lot of my spare cash this year! Big Grin

Me no understand Hedgehog ? there is a Skyfall set of 110, a Skyfall parallel set of 110, 18 quotable Skyfall, looks like all the relic cards are Skyfall, there is a Goldfinger throwback set (great) and 9 GG cards which will probably include the 2 Skyfall girls, and with auto's of who they have managed to get, Skyfall is pretty much covered, there always have to be a variety of movie auto's, if it was just Skyfall they may not go to double figures, how good would that have been with 2 auto's per box and only 8 signers ?

I just thought is seemed fragmented, with odds and ends and then the actual title of the set doesn't say anything about Skyfall.
It seems like a Skyfall plus bonuses set. I don't know, it just seems a little bit of this and that to me. Probably the fault of the title of the set as much as anything...it doesn't exactly inspire. And the other signers have signed for other Bond sets...as usual. It just seems like they've stuffed things here and there. Originally it was called a "Skyfall relic set"...so I'd have been happy with costume cards and prop cards with a few signers.

But hey, I'm sure lots of Bond fans will be happy with it. More for them then... Smile

I always complain about not getting my money's worth out of Rittenhouse boxes, but I'm still going to buy a case of this. I simply can't help myself.

I am slightly disappointed that the relics appear to be all costume. I find the other props far more fun and interesting.

That's funny, I don't think of relics as costume or material cards. I thought it would be all prop cards. Since the modern Bond sets have had autographs, costume AND PROP cards, I don't understand the title for this one either. Are we going to get more hits than in previous boxes?

Rittenhouse state " 2 AUTOGRAPH CARDS AND 1 (SHORT-PRINT) RELIC CARD PER BOX!" so no extra hits when you think the last Trek release had 4 hits per box.

I think this release is looking pretty good.

Four great new signers:
- Teri Hatcher (a long-time holdout)
- Bruce Glover (previously agreed to sign, then backed out)
- Berenice Marlohe (the new Bond girl)
- Ola Rapace (another Skyfall signer who was in the film a lot)

As for the repeats:
- Daniel Craig (who can complain? although I am surprised they have done a second 40th Anniversary card for him, although his Skyfall pic looks waaay better than on his Casino Royale Card)
- Sophie Marceau (people have been asking for this full bleed for a while, she last signed 9 years ago!)
- Jane Seymour is a good one (she last signed 10 years ago and her being on a 40th is a strong indication she'll be seen on a full bleed card soon)
- Judi Dench / Roger Moore (who doesn't want more cards from names like these?)
- Lulu (another interesting addition for those into the theme singers)

Whilst I don't collect every card from every Bond set anymore and have given up most base/chase cards, I think it will be interesting to see the work that has gone into the base set given the quantity of good images they had after the movie was released. There hasn't been a base set for a Bond film in 10 years!!!

Isn't Naomi Harris also signing? I'm pretty sure I saw that announced as well. and don't forget Roger Moore as a repeat, he still pulls in good $$

Javier Bardem would be a MASSIVE get if they could one day sign him. I think he ranks up there as one of the best bond villains ever, at least the best of the Daniel Craig Bond era.

I wonder if they will try to get Ralph Fiennes.

On a side note. I do not collect these sets. Unless I need a signature for another set. But, I was wondering if their are any big names (besides Connery) they have not gotten?

If one of the cards in the pack is a 'Goldfinger' card, you may need more than a box to complete a base set.

Former James Bond Timothy Dalton has not signed. Nor have Diana Rigg, Claudine Auger, and Daniela Bianchi, who were the lead Bond women in Thunderball, From Russia With Love, and On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Your right, I can't see how you can get a base set from a box.
