I can't say how much sense it makes to others, but it illustrates what always happens with time travel stories, they end up complicated and have holes. Not talking plot spoilers, but once Continuum evolved into having two versions of the same person existing in the same time, the story went out the window for me.

There is an old Dean Koontz book named "Lightning" that is the only time travel themed story that I have ever read, besides Wells' Time Machine, that is somewhat logical. Interesting enough, in both books the main character only goes into the future and back to his own present. They do not go into the past.

It is forbidden in Lightening, but I think it was just a choice in Time Machine, if I remember properly. Anyway that is the only way to avoid the huge plot holes that come from Back to the Future type stories, although that was comedy and not to be taken like a serious science fiction novel. I mean if you went back into the past and accidently killed your grandfather, how did you get born and how can you return to your own time?

I won't even bring up Terminator, but the Final Countdown was a good movie, yet it just avoided the confrontation with the Japanese fleet simply by coming back into the storm. I still liked the idea it had, even though it didn't follow through. And that ends my rant on time travel stories. Big Grin

at this point , I think it's safe to talk about it.....

She Got what she wanted & Defiantly didn't get what she wanted....

Season 4 hits Netflix on November 14th....

the basic problem with all time Travel shows/movies is if anything gets changed...then Everything gets changed.....

In this case,

almost everyone wanted a better future.... the got it.... the New Future has No Time Travel, So Kiera NEVER was sent back to change the Future....

She did get to see her son.... won't ruin that one but it's the bane of a lot of the gripes about the end......

The Future has been changed & it a good one with One Exception.........
